Staying on Samui? This is the dive shop you want - Excellent day with Discovery Divers! Divemasters are top notch. There was a divemaster for every three or four people, offering French, German, Thai, and English speakers excellent instruction and guidance. Everything is in great condition and we had a large larger more comfortable dive boat than other operators I saw. Diving in Koh Tao is fantastic no matter what; we saw schools of barracuda and batfish, soft corals, etc. Lunch was delicious! The individual attention and professionalism from the divemasters is where they really shine. Highly recommend. Only wish I could've had one more day to go diving

Diving Ko Tao - Super day out with a friendly and efficient team at Discovery Divers. Good kit, well maintained boat and great experience. Did a refresher with Sam - needed after 20 years ! And she took time to make sure we were comfortable. Then lovely diving at Ko Tao with so many different fish and my first ever fish ball dive ! Thanks all a lovely vibe and a great day out !

Snorkling on a diving tour - Great experience - went on a tour with divers, but my boyfriend and I were only snorkling. Despite of that we basically had our own snorkling guide, Ben. Ben showed us the best snorkling areas, and snorkled with us, and explained about the reef, fishes, area, history and so on. It was a great day, and we give the tour a 5-star rating and our guide Ben a 10-star rating!

Nicely conducted trip, good dive site - The overall trip was nicely conducted from start to finish, reflecting a well-organised and professional team. Transportation from hotel to pier was smooth. The boat was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a smooth ride to and from the dive sites. Likewise, the equipment was in excellent condition, feeling reliable and well-serviced. The food provided was okay—nothing to write home about, but perfectly sufficient to refuel after dives. Our divemaster was competent and ensured our safety, though perhaps a bit less engaging than some I've encountered. The main dive site, Chumphon was fun! So much activity, thoroughly enjoyed! Choice of 2nd dive site, could have been better, because there was literally nothing to see! Overall, it was a very positive experience for any diver looking for a reliable and enjoyable trip. With a little extra polish on the food and divemaster interaction, it could easily be a five-star operation! However, an extra shoutout and the five-star rating is owing to our boat captain and his staff. The weather turned a bit rough on the ride back but the entire crew, including the dive-instructors and divemasters were fully involved in getting us back safe. Had to dock at a different location but the buses were arranged in no-time and we were transported to our respective hotels as soon as possible.

So many fish you could get lost! - We saw the undulate moray eel, marbled sea cucumbers, varicose wart slugs, so much healthy coral, and so many fish! You won't be bored on this dive. Discovery Dive Centers is a great company to dive with. The guides and boat crew are very aware of safety and convey safety information and measures appropriately to all customers. We were very impressed with Discover Divers professionalism, knowledge, and operation.

Koh Tao with Discovery Dive - Took a 4-day/8-dive package and visited different sites around Koh Tao. Excellent service provided by this dive centre from pick-up at hotel through transfer to the dive sites and actual diving all the way to back to base and hotel. Super guys; fun to dive with but ensuring safety at all times. They even managed to ensure that whale sharks made an appearance!!! Would recommend.

Fantastic. Highly recommend! - Highly recommend Discovery divers! I'm a new / nervous diver and took a refresher / Koh Tao trip on day 1 followed by Chumphon Pinnacle on Day 2. The instructors were extremely patient in teaching me the ropes again and were fantastic in their approach. Facilities / boat are nice, food is good and the diving, out of the world. Had the loveliest time and will return for more.

Diving Koh Samui - Our diving experience in Koh Samui unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The whole trip felt rushed, and there was a noticeable tension between the dive masters, which translated into a lack of clear communication. It was uncomfortable to see that the dive team didn’t seem to be on the same page, and as a result, we didn’t feel like we were given proper safety instructions or guidance. This lack of coordination left us uncertain at times, and certainly didn’t inspire confidence, especially when it came to safety protocols. On top of that, the equipment was in poor condition. The masks were moldy, and one of the tanks wasn’t properly secured, which made us feel uneasy while diving. We also had to hold onto a rope during the dive, which resulted in painful rashes on our hands that lasted for a week. While we understand the weather conditions were beyond anyone’s control, it seemed like the dive masters weren’t particularly mindful of the discomfort some guests were feeling. There was little consideration given to the fact that some of us might have been nervous or uneasy due to the weather, and that lack of empathy didn’t help ease our anxiety. To top it off, the refreshments were sparse—just coke on board—and there wasn’t enough food for everyone, which further added to the sense that the trip was poorly organized. It’s disappointing, as we were really looking forward to the experience, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The highlight of the trip, however, was spotting a green turtle despite the poor visibility underwater. It was a special moment, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall lack of organization.
