This isn’t your regular cooking class. We’re not into the whole touristy thing. We’re here to give you a taste of a day in the life of a local. Market exploration, tasting street food, and then back to our kitchen to whip up something delicious from what we found. The menu? Well, that depends on what the market surprises us with, but hey, we’re flexible – we’ll cook what you crave.

BEST EXPERIENCE!! - This was the BEST experience that we have had in Asia this far! My husband and I stayed at the homestay for our first week in Vietnam and this cooking class was perfect. It got us used to different parts of the market, different meat, fish, produce, and what kinds of things to buy at the market. At the market, we got to try lots of local fruits and food. Our hosts were friends with many of the vendors and we were able to hear their stories and watch them prepare our ingredients (skin and clean fish, dice veggies, etc). We loved going to two different markets and learning how to buy the ingredients for the specific dishes we were making. We travel by Tuk Tuk or motorbike (so fun!!) and when we got back, we got to try fresh fruit juice... We relaxed in the hammocks, then got to COOK :). Cooking was my favorite part. Our hosts taught us at every step and let us cook ourselves. It was seriously the best experience and we feel confident that we could make these dishes at home. We might do ANOTHER cooking class here because of how much we loved it. It was an awesome day!!!!!

Delicious!!! - The trip is highly recommended. The family is very hospitable and polite. Everything was very authentic and super super delicious! Everything was bought locally and a lot of things were even made in the homestay, e.g. coconut oil. They also pay a lot of attention to sustainability. The vegetable churro is highly recommended - delicious!

Do not miss ! - This moment shared around the kitchen is a real 100% local pleasure. It starts with a Vietnamese breakfast and is filled with meetings and smiles! Chi is a guide who knows her environment perfectly and knows how to adapt to each request, which makes shopping at the market super pleasant! The cooking part, with the family, is so good… and the tasting is a real joy. Thank you Chi and the whole family ❤️

Wonderful moment - We were last December in the Mekong, in Bentre with my brother, and we were really happy to meet Chi and his family, and it was an incredible moment for us, and I think about it very often! Thanks again for the wonderful welcome and I hope everyone is well!
Chi and Linh offered us their cooking class, and we had a blast, both participating in the class, spending time together, and also eating afterwards! The formula is really fun and interesting, and the girls are really adorable. Very interesting. I would like to be there again, I often think of this place and this family, long live this project, Chi and Linh!!!
And thanks for everything !

Amaziiing ! - I had the privilege to have Linh just for me. It was such a good experience ! She gave spontaneous explanations and her English is perfect so it's giving you the opportunity to ask plenty of questions. She is brillant. It was a very intimate class and you can choose what you cook ( it's all dishes from South Vietnam).
Would definitely recommended to do it here instead of Hoi an.
Also deeply recommend to stay at Bahn Da homestay (where the lesson take place), it is such a peaceful place in the Mekong Delta.

Highly recommended - We had a great day and really enjoyed this cooking class. We could choose the dishes by ourselves from a menu. In the morning we went to the market to buy the ingredients. During cooking everything was explained to us and afterwards we had a perfect lunch.

Wonderful tour to learn about the culture, people and food. - Great.
I stayed at the Ba Dahn Homestay for a few days, where we also cooked.
The tour started there and we first took the scooter to a local restaurant for breakfast, then went to the market in Ben Tre. There we got all the necessary ingredients, tested a few local fruits and looked at other markets. Afterwards we drove back to Ba Dahn Homestay and cooked an excellent lunch. I was able to learn a lot about the local cuisine and how to prepare the food. Requests were also responded to very well. The tour guide, Chi, is extremely friendly and really warm and I felt like I was in very good hands with her. Definitely a tour to immerse yourself in the local culture and get to know the local people.

Best experience in Ben Tre !! - We where in the Ba danh homestay for a couples of nights, this activity his propose by the the host.
Everything was well organised, we took a scooter to go to the Ben Tre Market
Once at the market, they help us to chose and discover multiple local products.
Then, we go back to the homestay to cook with all the Family.
The learning class was really great, step by step and awsering every questions.
The meal was amazing. we warmly recommande this activity

Taste and experience Vietnam through their cuisine, made with your own hands… - A wonderful day when we, together with our children, really experienced Vietnamese cuisine up close. With a trip to the local market to find the fresh ingredients and then straight home in to the kitchen and prepare a wonderful meal - the right way, with knowledgeable and patient guidance from the sweetest hosts.
