Ben Tre - Depart from Saigon and head straight to Ben Tre. Board a private boat to enjoy the most spectacular view and relaxing boat trip on the Mekong River. Your first stop is a local brick kiln where we’ll learn how clay bricks are made. Continuing to other villages, you’ll learn about Coconut charcoal, coconut fiber processing, coconut candy workshop and freshly picked fruits from a local orchard gardern.
You’ll spend more time meandering down the river and cruising a long beautiful creek covered with shady Coconut, Nipa palms then stop to visit local mat-weaving village to learn more about the localsleeping mats, traditional lifestyles, culture, and customs before hopping on a xe-lôi (motorized rickshaw) or enjoying a bicycle ride to reach a nice riverside restaurant for a delicious lunch with local delicacies.
After lunch, you’ll experience the rowing boat trip along the picturesque canals. Come back to the car and continue to visit Ben Tre Local Market before heading back to Saigon.

A must do tour when visiting Ho Chi Minh. Typhoon Honey our guide was the best! - We had a fantastic day out, made even better by our wonderful guide, Typhoon Honey! What a legend … funny and Informative. Our Driver Tung was also wonderful keeping us comfy,cool and safe. Typhoon Honey made sure we had a great day and kept us entertained. We cruised along the Mekong Delta in a nice comfy boat and sipped away on a fresh coconut. We visited a coconut candy factory, had a spectacular lunch, learnt about village life and so much more. Unfortunately and unexpectedly I was on crutches, so while the others biked through the countryside, a tuk tuk was arranged for me and I was well looked after. Thank you Typhoon Honey … and remember - No Money, no Honey :)

A great a way to spend a day - We had the best day with our hilarious guide, Typhoon Honey, and our excellent driver, Tung. Typhoon is such great company and it’s obvious that he has a fantastic relationship with the local people and places we visited. The tour itself was comfortable in a modern, air conditioned van and started with a trip down the Mekong Delta before visiting a brick manufacturer, a coconut candy factory (yum!), a wee bike to lunch (or optional Tuk Tuk), a beautiful local lunch, another bike through a local village, another boat trip, and a walk through some local markets where Typhoon pointed out foreign fruits and vegetables. It was an excellent day filled with local culture and information with a hotel pick up and drop off by Tung. Thank you!

A fantastic trip to the Mekong Dekta. - The full day tour of the Mekong Dekta exceeded all our expectations. The scenery was lovely, the food fantastic and the detailed explanation of the local history and geography by our guide Han was really informative and interesting. Tien our driver made us feel very safe and comfortable.
The day was made by how friendly Han and Tien were. We could not have been better looked after. I would definitely do this tour again.

Well worth the money and a great experience! - Our experience with Typhoon Honey (Tpur Guide) and the private tour in the Mekong Delta was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we were picked up, the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail of the day was seamless and tailored to our preferences.
The highlights included a serene boat ride through the tranquil canals, vibrant floating markets, and a visit to a local village where we got an authentic glimpse into daily life. Typhoon Honey added so much depth to the experience with their expertise, storytelling, and genuine warmth. They made sure we felt comfortable and engaged at every step.

To book as soon as you can: Mekong 1-day discovery - Great experience with Typhoon Honey as a guide and Phước as a driver.
We went visiting Ben Tre and surroundings with amazing places, boat trips in Nature, surprising and exquisite food. The car was comfortable and conversation about history precious.

A day exploring the Mekong river delta. - This trip was a great way to explore some of the places and culture of the Mekong Delta. Khang (guide) and Van (driver) did a fantastic job. They looked after us very well. Khang was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the day, and I would certainly recommend this trip to anyone.

A lovely day! - We had an amazing day with Khang as our guide. We saw many aspects of the delta and had a delicious lunch. All aspects of the day were well-organised and planned and we moved seamlessly from one activity to the next. Khang provided excellent commentary throughout.

Great day - Khang was a superb guide. Informative and interesting, well organised and thoughtful. We experienced a variety of travel (taxi, tuk tuk, river cruiser and rowing boat) and interactions with bee keepers, coffee makers, cocoanut cooperatives and Buddhas.
A great break from work and an unforgettable day, Thoroughly recommended

Great trips made even better by Ben our tour guide! - We booked two trips with Ginkgo Voyage. The Mekong delta & half day Cu Chi Tunnels (private trips). Both were amazing and we learnt a lot however the best part was our guide Ben. He was incredible, full of so much knowledge & taught us so much more than we expected. Highly recommend this company to everyone.
