Reynisfjara Beach - Explore the striking black sands of Reynisfjara Beach.

Vik - Pause at the quaint coastal village of Vík.

Myrdalsjokull Glacier - Pass by the impressive Mýrdalsjökull glacier, home to the infamous and unpredictable Katla volcano beneath its icy surface.

Skaftafell National Park - Enter Skaftafell National Park, the starting point for the day’s activities.

Vatnajokull Glacier - Embark on a three-hour glacier hike, led by an expert guide, on an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier. From November to March, the glacier hike is replaced with a magical tour of a natural ice cave within the glacier.

Jokulsarlon - Next, visit the renowned Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, a magical site filled with icebergs.

Akureyri - Make a brief stop in Akureyri, the Capital of the North, unless accommodations are already arranged there for the night.

Siglufjordur - Travel to Siglufjörður, a delightful fishing village with a rich history. In the 20th century, Siglufjörður was the herring fishing capital of the Atlantic.

Borgarnes - Spend the night at a cozy hotel in Borgarnes.

Borgarfjörður - Reykholt - Hraunfossar - Hvalfjörður - Reykjavik

West Region - Visit an area recognized by Lonely Planet as one of the top destinations in 2016. Begin the day with a short hike up Grábrók, a volcanic crater. Borgarfjörður is filled with remarkable sights.

Hraunfossar - Visit the Hraunfossar waterfall, where icy water cascades from the lava.
