Krma - Departing from Bled, the journey will lead to Krma Valley, the starting point of the hike. From this location, it will take approximately 6 hours of hiking to reach Triglavski Dom na Kredarici, the highest hut in the Julian Alps. The duration is highly dependent on conditions such as snow levels and weather. In winter, snowshoes or crampons, provided by the guide, are typically necessary to navigate the snow more easily.
Triglavski Dom Na Kredarici - This is the highest hut in the Julian Alps and one of the few open during winter, mainly due to its function in weather monitoring. Accommodation will be provided here for the night. While the hut offers limited amenities, a warm meal and drink are available.
Kredarica Hut-Triglav Mountain-Return to Bled
Triglav - On the second day, following breakfast, equipment will be prepared for the climb to the summit of Triglav Mountain. The ascent is expected to take approximately 2 hours, depending on conditions. After a brief pause at the summit for photos and to enjoy the scenery, the descent back to Krma Valley will commence. The return to Bled is anticipated in the late afternoon.
