Lake Bled - Arrive individually at the starting hotel in Bled.

Bled Castle (Blejski Grad) - Situated on a steep cliff 130 meters above the glacial Lake Bled, this castle is a symbol of Bled and Slovenia.

Bled Island - Discover the enchanting island, count the steps, and make a wish by ringing the wishing bell.

Bled - Škofja Loka

Radovljica Old Town - Cycle from Bled along the Sava River to the old town of Radovljica, where you can visit the unique beekeeping museum.

Begunje na Gorenjskem - Cycle through Begunje, the hometown of Slavko Avsenik and Polka music, Tržič with its shoemaking tradition, and Kranj.

Kranj - The capital of the Gorenjska region.

Škofja Loka - The stage concludes in Škofja Loka, home to Slovenia’s best-preserved medieval town center. A transfer can help you avoid the ascent and shorten the stage by about 20 km (not included in the price).

Škofja Loka - Ljubljana

Ljubljana Old Town - The finish is at Zmajski most, or Dragon Bridge, one of Ljubljana’s symbols. Route details: approx. 39 km, + 320 m / – 390 m.

Ljubljana - Postojna

Cerknica Lake - Start by driving through Tivoli Park and past the Ljubljana Zoo, two popular spots for locals. The highlight is the magical disappearing lake of Cerknica and the Rakov Škocjan gorge.

Rakov Škocjan Valley - Slovenia’s oldest landscape park, featuring stunning natural bridges and other formations. It’s an ideal spot for a nature picnic. A transfer can shorten the stage by about 20 km (not included in the price).

Postojna - Kodreti / Karst

Postojna Cave - Visit the extensive Postojna cave system, known for its stalagmites, stalactites, and the famous “human fish.”

Predjama Castle - Next, see Predjama Castle, uniquely positioned below a 123-meter cliff. Legend tells of a robber knight, Erasmus, who used the caves beneath the castle to outsmart an entire army.

Vipava - After a spectacular descent into the Vipava Valley, one of Slovenia’s most renowned wine regions, end your day at a family guesthouse and enjoy a typical Karst cuisine dinner.

Kodreti / Karst - Divača / Škocjan

Štanjel - The first stop is Štanjel, an idyllic Karst settlement built mostly from stone, located atop a hill.

Lipica - Travel through picturesque Karst villages and vineyards with numerous wine cellars, inviting you to stop and taste first-class Teran wines and Karst ham. Visit the Lipica stud farm, home to the world-famous white Lipizzaner horses. If time permits, visit the “War Museum” in a Venetian tower.

Divača / Škocjan - Izola - Piran (approx. 50 km, to Piran approx. 61 km)

Škocjan Caves Park - Visit the Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site and protected area.

Parenzana - The Karst Plain leads you to the Adriatic Sea, following the old railway lines of Val Rosandra and Parenzana. The final stretch takes you along the coastal road on a new cycling path, offering stunning views of Slovenia’s beautiful coast.

Piran - The tour concludes in the charming Venetian town of Piran, where you can watch the sunset from the church bell tower or swim in the blue Adriatic Sea.

The next phase of the tour takes you to the Notranjska region, where a tour of the internationally acclaimed Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle is suggested. Pedaling into the Karst area, you will ride along serene, picturesque, and easy-to-navigate roads that pass through vineyards and time-honoured villages, offering you a chance to savor the gourmet Teran red wine and Karst ham. The Lipica stud farm, home to the renowned Lipizaner white horses, followed by the Škocjan caves–Europe’s biggest subterranean canyon–are next on the agenda. The final stretch leads you to the Slovenian portion of the Istrian peninsula. After exploring the delightful Piran, you can decompress and rejuvenate after an indelible adventure.
