Good value experience - Really enjoyed our afternoon at the Sealife Centre, especially tne sharks, turtles and rays. We were in for just over 90 minutes, so felt we had spent a good amount of time there

Best of the Sea Life centres I have visited - A beautifully presented Sea Life centre in the heart of Blackpool, just a couple of doors down from the Blackpool Tower. The aquarium tunnel is the best of all the Sea Life centres I have visited, especially due to the spacious centre section. Of particular note was one of the guides, Islay, who should have her own aquatic wildlife show on children’s television; she really is that good.

Shark snorkel experience - We did the shark snorkel experience which was amazing. We had Kyle as our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience really special and answered my daughter’s endless questions. His passion shone through and we also went back a couple of days later and again bumped into Kyle who was able to show us even more and answer more questions. He was interacting with all other guests and is a huge asset to the centre. Great trip thanks!!!

Great experience - We visited the Sealife Centre Blackpool today and it was a pleasure to see all the things we did. The kids enjoyed it which was the main thing. Definitely good for someone with anxiety and panic disorder as it has a relaxing atmosphere although it was incredibly busy it was still enjoyable

Great couple of hours. - This is a nice little sealife, we spent a good couple of hours here. It was very busy, expected during school holidays. There are plenty of educational talks in here if you want a listen and the staff are very knowledgeable answering any questions you have. Some very fascinating things to look at. The underwater walk is amazing. You really can't comprehend the size of some of these sharks untill your walking under them. Really enjoyed this

- After visiting the Madame Tousoudes Wax Museum we walked the short distance to Sea Life Blackpool full of anticipation. We were not disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and were in awe at many of the creatures on display. We especially enjoyed seeing the stingrays gracefully swimming in their tank along with sharks, turtles and other sea mammals of similar size, living in unison. The children were having a whale of a time..!...watching the various fish of all sizes...! Some fish were inquisitive and came up to the glass when someone approached their tank, others appeared to retreat to the cover of the plants and rocks before venturing back out to see what was watching them! It was definitely worth the visit, and we spent more than 2 hours wandering around the place.

Not an enthralling experience. - Husband wanted to dive with sharks, but only had snorkeling (and not on a date to suit us) so we ended up doing the feeding the of the giant tortoises. It was so underwhelming. We didn't even get to do the entire feed as the keeper fed one of them, and we got to feed the other between us. Not worth the money - do not do! Some of the exhibits were engaging and interesting, and others were downright dismal and unappealing. Would I go again? No. Not even on a wet day in Blackpool when looking for something indoors to do, would I go again.

Not really well organised - The centre itself is nice, a bit different from the others we’ve been to but it’s a bit chaotic layout wise and nobody tells you this when you go in. Lugged the pram up a huge flight of stairs only to be told there’s a lift by the staff at the top - not the staff at the bottom who showed us through the stair door so if you are looking for the lift it’s actually round the other side of the reception. The kids get an activity sheet to fill in as they go round so that’s nice, there’s a few interactive parts like the starfish tanks where the kids can feel the starfish or the jellyfish but that uses lights to change colour but you need to hand this into the gift shop. Not lug your stuff back to reception to be told it’s the gift shop. Lastly. You exit through the gruffalo. Nobody tells you this in sea life, you just wander aimlessly down Julia Donaldson themed stairs wondering if you’re going to be discovered and kicked out without a ticket until you get to the gruffalo gift shop and ask staff in there where you are and how you got there (as the kids now moan to go in the gruffalo) to be told that this is the exit all along. Really liked the Loch Lomond one and this is similar but it’s just not well organised enough to make me want to return or recommend it.

Underwhelmed - Been to several sea life’s and was disappointed with this one. Firstly the queuing system paying tickets and pre booked are directed into the same queue inside. No disabled lift was working and the foyer was littered with buggies even in front of the non working lift. To many people let in so you could barely move in places. Another attraction that wants to take your photo on entry with asking had to say no, in fact the families comment behind us was the most funny it had already cost them enough as there was 10 of them. Exhibits were okish but the inevitable gift shop and if that’s not enough another gift shop on exit to the street
