A great introduction to the city, along with lots of urban beauty - I really enjoyed this walking tour with an excellent guide named Alex. It was the first thing I did after arriving in Bishkek, so it was a great introduction to not just the city but also to Kyrgyz culture and history. It was wonderful to see the murals and mosaics around the city with Alex putting them into their urban and national context. He's easy to talk to and answered all my questions. And he patient throughout. When I asked to rest a bit in the shade or stop at a store to get more to drink, he was helpful. If you enjoy art or history at all, I think this tour is better than a standard "see the sites" one. You'll explore a good bit around the heart of the downtown tourist area as well as walk through some neighborhoods that you probably wouldn't find on your own. Alex answered my questions about Soviet architecture too. After the tour, he made sure I got home with a Yandex Go taxi. I'm glad I chose this tour and had the chance to enjoy Bishkek's wonderful street art and architecture.

A glimpse at Kyrgyz street art - It was a fantastic tour, starting with some of the monuments in the centre and learning about Kyrgyz history, then on to the murals walk. Alex is very knowledgable and tells you the story behind the murals which makes you appreciate them not just for the art but also the message. A lot of the murals were off the main street or hidden away so I wouldn't have seen them on my own. I highly recommend the tour.

Meaningful Street Art in the Capital - We recently managed to make our walking tour with our guide Alex who initially showed us historical architects of the Soviets and later we learn about history of nomadic Kyrgyz people and how they make remarkable change to now. He explained us about each street art and meaning of it. We are really happy and we enjoyed the walking around. we highly recommend him!!!
