As the sun rises over Birmingham on April 12th, the city offers a delightful mix of indoor and outdoor activities perfect for families looking to explore. Start your day with a visit to Cadbury World, where the doors open at 9:00 AM. This chocolate haven is a paradise for both kids and adults, offering a fascinating journey through the history of chocolate. From the Aztec Jungle to the magical Cadabra ride, there’s something for everyone. The 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience is a must-see, where you can dive into a bowl of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk and ride the Crunchie Rollercoaster. As one recent visitor noted in a review on 2025-04-06,
Fab Cafe & Shop - Great fun day thanks to free tickets from The Sun 🌞 having our very own family bar of dairy milk with our photo on the front was the highlight. there is lots of fun things to try and the 4d cinema is good. Lots of childhood memories flashback when you see the vintage items and adverts, my favourite thing as a kid use to the the 2p machine with those micro bars 👏 And what about the free chocolate I hear you cry? You get a 100g dairy milk bar each on entry, a little pot of hot melted when you get to the factory part, plus when you go on the quest ride you get a small bar of caramel dairy milk. So just enough get the taste 👅 but not too much that it will do in your health plan 🙌😜 the shop and cafe was also fab - and you can go in these without even going inside the paid area. Will defo go back for the afternoon tea as this had to be booked in advanced.
After indulging in chocolate, head over to the SEA LIFE Centre at 11:00 AM. Here, you can meet the UK’s only sea otters, Ozzy and Ola, and marvel at the playful Gentoo penguins. The 360° Ocean Tunnel offers an immersive experience as sharks, rays, and a giant green sea turtle swim around you. A visitor shared their magical experience on 2025-02-13:
Magical experience - We all had an excellent experience, In our group we had an electronic wheelchair user, 2 adults and 2 children aged 2 &3. Wheelchair accessible throughout only issue we had was getting from the car park to the entrance as it was a cobble street, but once inside it was easy to navigate and the areas were all wheelchair friendly.
