Great day out on our own - I always love a private tour. We go at our pace and spend the time we want to go. Edwin was great. On time, there for us when ready and took us to some fun places. The blue lake and desert was very picturesque. Love a temple or too and the shopping centre ( well that has seen betters days - just never came back from COVID). The small gift shop on the other hand delivered the odds and ends of souvenirs we wanted. The lunch location was great upon the hills.

Great option to see Bintan outside of resort area - Eko was a great driver and guide and took us to several spots pre-selected for the tour. The car was comfy and handled the highways and off-road ruts equally well. Eko also offered some additional sight-seeing options for near the end. We enjoyed the temples and the main city center traditional shopping streets. The blue lake was super hot and felt the most touristy. The add-on delight at the end was touring the Sangit coffee plantation for a lesson in growing and hand-harvesting/roasting coffee - with a bit of honey and rubber tree information, too! Overall a pleasant 6.5 hour day. Well worth leaving the resort area of Bintan to see the rest of island.

Hari was a great guide. - Booked through Viator, Hari our driver turned up bang on time in a lovely new car with fab air con. He was happy to answer all our questions about the island and we felt very safe as he is an excellent driver. He took us to three temples, all were beautiful and interesting, the main town where he walked us through the markets and port explaining all about Bintan and interesting experience of sights and smells for a westerner ! He also took us to the Blue lake and Sand Dunes which we felt were a waste of time. A small lake surrounded by some sand dunes . The lake was not beautiful and the setting was not either ! He was happy to take us wherever we wanted and was a genuinely lovely guy !

Premier view of Bintan that’s off the beaten path - I loved this tour! They really catered to what I wanted to see and left enough room to ask me what I’d like to view. For a tour this price, it absolutely exceeded expectations. I also loved that as a solo traveler, my tour guide took pictures for me so I can enjoy the experience more. The highlights were the temples, the pagoda, the restaurant, and the exclusive coffee and honey farm. They were also generous and helped me get my visa when I landed so that I could still enjoy the trip (and pay them back in form of a credit card transaction). Thanks for the hospitality!
