- Plaza Moyua - We’ll cross this beautiful square, the center of the Villa de Bilbao, going through part of Gran Vía, the true backbone of the Villa.
- Guggenheim Museum Bilbao - Touring the Ria del Nervión we’ll enjoy the best exterior views outside of this famous museum. Impressive architecture offered by this wonderful building of titanium, stone and glass. Built by Frank Ghery has been the authentic architect of the renovation of Bilbao.
- Mirador de Artxanda - After strolling along the estuary and crossing the Calatrava Bridge, we head to the Artxanda Funicular which take us up to the Artxanda viewpoint in a few minutes. From this place we can see Bilbao in all its splendor.

Fantastic walking tour of Bilbao with Jose - What an amazing day we had exploring the fantastic city of Bilbao with our guide Jose. We covered an impressive 14km in this relaxed yet comprehensive walk that included the funicular and secret lift experience to views of and from the upper eschelons of Bilbao. We stopped for a delicious lunch in Casco Viajo at a restaurante organised by Jose. It was a treat to have such a passionate and informed local orientate us to this intriguing, bilingual city, the history, culture and amazing sights. When planning this trip, never did I imagine we would be walking down the streets of the Gran Via singing songs of the Pogues with our guide (Jose is an avid fan as are we). We also appreciated the insights provided by Jose on our upcoming trip to Picos de Europa. Eskerrik asko Jose!!!

Fun in Bilbao with Jose! - When we arrived in Bilbao we were warmly greeted by Jose. He took us everywhere and not just to the tourist sections but to other beautiful neighborhoods. Jose was absolutely wonderful...extremely patient, thoroughly explained all the highlights of this charming city. Jose made our visit to Bilbao incredible. We were very fortunate to have such an awesome guide.

A Great Day in Bilbao - Jose was an outstanding guide. He showed us all the great sites plus he was helpful in navigating a very large soccer crowd on this day. You could not ask for a nicer and more accommodating guide. My wife has mobility challenges and our guide was very mindful of them.

Amazing! Walking Tour with Jose. - We really enjoyed our private guided walking tour with Jose. He really knows the city of Bilbao and it's history. He took us to an authentic Basque restaurant where we tried food from the region. I was able to take lots of pictures without feeling rushed. We were very fortunate that we had a sunny warm day in December, could not have planned the day any better.

Easy going walking tour of Bilbao - Very nice walking tour and Jose Luis was great. The tour was easy going and was adapted to fit our schedule.
The tour was a walking and talking type with a lot of information and back and forth discussions.
We enjoyed it a lot.

A perfect day - Jose Luis was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable, warm, interesting and helpful. The itinerary for our day long walking tour in Bilbao was perfect. We toured the city and learnt so much from a local's perspective. Jose Luis's English was fantastic. His lunchtime restaurant choice was spot on. Our day was perfect thanks to Jose Luis. Book this tour. You will not be disappointed. We had plenty of laughs and were disappointed the day had to end ! Thank you for a simply wonderful day. Next time we are in Bilbao we will definitely book another Jose Luis tour.

Jose was great - Jose is a native of Balboa and knew the history inside and out . very informative. We walked 9 miles . saw a lot . he will customize to what interests you . speaks English very well. highly recommended

Histories around Bilbao! - Useful experience to see the main attractions of the city. Being a journey by foot, for 3 people, it seems a expensive price.
But knowledgeable guide, Jose Luiz de Biscaia Maite Tours, storyteller and extremely helpful. We recommend his services.
