Gonzalo the foodie tour guide - Gonzalo was not only a foodie but a wealth of knowledge about the history, the politics and the current state of the area - especially things related to the Basque. He was a very good tour guide who ultimately becomes your new friend in Spain - and that is even before he shows you all the great places to have tapas with some apple cider! Highly recommend a tour with him.

Wonderful way to explore the culinary side of Bilbao - The Bask country Is the hotspot for delicious food. Therefore, a food tour in Bilbao or San Sebastian is a must have. We did one in Bilbao. Our guide was Gonzalo, it was great to walk with him through the city and enjoy all the delicious local dishes. Additionally, you learn a lot about the city, not only culinary but also historical, cultural and social facts about the city. Gonzalo adapts his tour according to the wishes of the group. He knows many places that we had great food we liked at very enjoyable restaurants. We took the tour with our kids, they had some of their own ideas regarding tastings of local foods, which he fulfilled splendidly. Doing a food tour, having great things to eat and receiving interesting information about the town is an excellent opportunity to explore a city.

A great excursion, definitely do it. You will become wiser about both the city and the food and drinks! - Great tour in good company. Very nice authentic bars with delicious Pinxtos. Gonzalo also made us a little wiser about the habits and their origins. Price/quality this was definitely worth it. They were not stingy with food or drink. Also a big thank you to the guide, Gonzalo, who also gave us some tips for our further stay!
