Upon arrival at Wave Break Island, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel around its rocky reefs and delve into the marvelous marine life of the Gold Coast. Afterward, regain your energy as you enjoy some refreshments, taking in the stunning panorama of the Gold Coast, before paddling back to our starting location.
- Seats are limited, so don’t miss out by booking early
- No previous swimming, kayaking or snorkelling experience needed
- Low to medium fitness level (depending on weather conditions). Early morning tours usually offer calmer conditions while afternoon tours could be more for a good challenge. We offer a physical activity where a certain fitness level is required, no refunds or rescheduling options are entitled for those who are not able to complete the activity.
- Maximum weight limit per double kayak is 220kg and 120Kg per single
- Minimum age is 4 years
- Water visibility and wildlife spotting may be affected by the force of nature (e.g. winds, rainfall, tidal currents) and Seaway Kayaking Tours is not responsible should this occurs.
- A 12% surcharge applies on Sundays and Public Holidays

We park our trailer between 456-482 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters QLD 4216 (on the beach side). Please note that we are not a shop, this is where all of our tours depart from. The street numbers previously mentioned are only to be used as a reference point.

Fun on the water - Fun water activity that was also educational. Guides were very informative, explained things clearly and were helpful.

Snorkelling and kayaking adventure - Gonzalo did a great job to guide us to the Wavebreak Island and gave us enough time for snorkelling and prepared some small snacks. Would recommend this fun adventure

Great afternoon activity in the heart of the Gold Coast - Nelson and Sebastian were very helpful guides and we had an enjoyable time. They were both helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kayaking/snorkelling tour.

Adventure 🐟🚣♀️ - Karin was a wonderful instructor, helpful and informative. Had a truly great time.
Kayaked out to the island, where we snorkelled with the fish and had a picnic. With lovely people.
Only wished I asked for a single kayak instead of a double. But despite that, 5/5 experience. Thankyou so much. Will visit again

Cruise with Nelson - Amazing tour. Nelson was a super guide and showed us many fancy animals. We just missed some dolphins which followed our boats. What a pitty. Check the tides before you book. High tide is the best snorkel visibility.

Fun day on and in the water - Had an excellent tour, with experienced and knowledgeable guides. The tides caused murky water, so we couldn't see fish at first during the snorkeling, but once we were given food to scatter, then the fish came really close.

Amazing experience - Nelson was very informative and super kind, he gave us history on the island and set up a cute picnic for us. He is super sweet and helpful carrying the kayaks and keeping us safe!!

Playing Tourist for the morning - We live locally and always see these guys around so thought it would be fun to do one day. It was great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking tour and hanging out on wave break island. The snorkeling isn’t the best there so don’t go just for that but it is a nice way to pass some time whilst hanging in the island. Staff were very friendly, informative and welcoming. Would recommend.

Amazing day even with awful weather. Staff great at their jobs but poor at extending courtesy. - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was cloudy all day and raining heavily for 2/3's of the tour - but we still enjoyed it and the tour guides did a great job of still making it fun, as well as making no changes and preventing us from doing any of the activities. Kayaking with lightning in the background is a surreal and awesome feeling.
The lunch was also great for an included lunch. Normally it's just a novelty sandwich and drink but this was a generous setup of wrap fillings, cupcakes, crisps, etc.
The only downside I will say; is that the staff did a poor job of providing shelter from the rain. People getting wet is fine, who cares. Personal belongings, bags and electronics being left out in the rain without shelter is another thing. Especially while the staff were sitting inside a big sheltered truck where rain didn't leak through the ceiling.
Not once were we asked if we'd like to put even the essentials under shelter, we were just left out in the cold and torrential rain while they sat bone dry underneath a metal roof.
Aside from everything being soaked through, we had a blast, and I would recommend this company and this tour.
