Embark on a thrilling Zodiac tour in Big Island towards Kealakekua Bay, the location of Captain Cook monument and Hawaii’s top marine sanctuary. Revel in snorkelling alongside a spectrum of tropical fish amidst the stunning coral gardens in the bay’s pristine, transparent waters. Relish the pleasant picnic snack offered before setting off again. Our Zodiac rafts enable us to closely follow the shoreline and access spots unreachable by other boats. Come along with us to discover extensive sea caves, lava tubes and the untamed allure of the coastline.

Captain Zodiac is located at 74-425 Kealakehe Parkway, suite #16. We are in the Honokohau Marina and small boat harbor located approximately 5 miles south of the Kona Airport and approximately 2 miles north of the town of Kailua-Kona. Meet at our office in the Gentry's Kona Marina parking lot.

Great outing - Fantastic trip in every way. The captain and mate were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the sea and land. We stopped for about 30 minutes to see two humpbacks put on a show, saw mahi mahi and ono in the water from the zodiac , became surrounded by pilot whales and the snorkeling was timed perfectly at Captain Cook - not crowded and the waters were calm. The snorkeling was amazing as we saw so many different fish species, soun we siphons and an octopus. We thought 5 hours might be too long but the time flew by. It was a memorable day and a tour we were happy not to miss.

Exciting, Fun and well worth it! - It was the perfect day out. Captain Rick and Co-Captain Shelby were wonderful hosts! The excursion was not rushed, we spent the whole afternoon in the water. It was amazing.
They had plenty of snacks and drinks for all the guests. The excursion was intimate, there were only 12 guests including us.
I highly recommend Captain Rick and Shelby for your next snorkeling tour!

Best Snorkeling Tour Ever - Absolutely loved the snorkeling tour with Captain Jason. It was such an awesome tour, he was so professional , friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make our experience fantastic. He stopped when there whales to see and then off to snorkeling at Captain Cooks Monument which was stunning, beautiful , and amazing. We will definitely book with Captain Zodiac and Jason next trip and will recommend you to everyone. Which we have been already. Mahalo!!

Snorkeling with friends - I have been snorkeling in Aruba, Mexico, Bahamas, and Dominican, but none have been this great. The captain and first mate were very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. The cove was full of fish and clear blue water, but the military grade boat was a blast.

This was a great tour for... - This was a great tour for our family! We were looking for a small group with more adventure which the zodiac provided! Jason and Dimonte did a fabulous job with the history and experiences close to the shoreline! Jason made sure we saw whales also! We will definitely book again when we come back!

Great crew and snorkeling! - We had a great crew on this trip. Not only were they funny and interactive, but they also took great care to make sure that we were safe and comfortable, both on the boat and snorkeling. We saw a great selection of sea life.

Great snorkel trip - We had a great adventure. Saw bottle nose dolphins and spinner dolphins. Had a great time snorkeling, good lunch, and crew was great. Fun Zodiac trip out and back along shoreline to see sights.

Great time! - This was the highlight of our trip! We did a tour with Captain Zodiac almost 20 years ago in Kauai. And to our surprise, they moved to Big Island. The tour was just as fun as years ago. Now traveling with teenagers, they also loved the experience. We saw dolphins, flyfishes, and almost got to see a whale! We had a blast with the tour guides! They took us to a great spot for snorkeling. Highly recommend for those looking for a fun and adventurous experience in a small group setting.

Great adventure! - Is was a great tour. Our group had a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to have the whole boat to for our group of four. The owners are extremely helpful and nice. Our captain was did a great job.
