Enjoy a breathtaking Kona sunset aboard our spacious 50’ catamaran as you cruise along the Kona coast, followed by an unforgettable adventure - snorkeling with the magnificent manta rays! Upon arrival, receive a comprehensive introduction to one of the ocean’s most enigmatic creatures. Join our professional and certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the majestic hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel gear, instruction, wetsuits, and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, and hot cocoa are included.
Guests have the option to purchase beer, wine, and cocktails from our fully stocked bar.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the water and MUST be accompanied by an adult on the vessel at all times

- We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
- PLEASE NOTE that trip start times VARY throughout the year to accommodate for the time changes of the setting sun.
- PLEASE NOTE that full-face snorkel masks are NOT allowed to be used by guests
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers. If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
- Guests weighing more than 300 lb (136 kg) are NOT allowed in the water as our water entry / exit staircase has a specific weight limit
- Not recommended for travelers with a history of panic attacks

Beautiful sunset, fantastic close-up Manta Ray snorkeling, along with a very serviceminded and professional crew! - First tour of our visit to Big Island we went for the sunset and Manta Ray tour with Kona Style based on the great reviews and the fact that we have kids who preferred snorkeling with just a bit of daylight. Kona Style did not disappoint! Both Crew and Captain made sure everyone had an unforgettable tour in secure conditions, and shared great knowledge and history about the Manta Rays. Big recommendations from both kids and parents, the beautiful sunset even made it that more special to us!

KONA STYLE SUNSET MANTA CRUISE ROCKS!!! - THIS WAS AN AMAZING TRIP! We went on the Sunset & Manta Ray Snorkel Adventure and it was an absolutely mind blowing experience. The staff was very professional, the boat was crazy cool and the snorkel with these incredible creatures that come to within inches of your face was so intense and satisfying, my family cannot stop talking about it, 4 months later!!! Additionally, the length of time we stayed in the water compared to the other companies is so much longer, we were able to see so many more mantas:) Thank you Kona Style!!!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! - My husband and I used google maps to find the location for check in. We became lost and I called the establishment and the person that answered the phone was so understanding.Google maps lead us to the wrong location .She stayed on the phone with me until she knew we were headed in the right direction. We were afraid we would miss the tour because we knew they couldn’t wait for us . She was very reassuring and helpful . We were able to make the trip . The experience was absolutely amazing ! The crew was very friendly and professional. We would do it again ! Beware google maps doesn’t always work in Hawaii .

BOOK the trip... do it. - This is a 10/10 experience. I cried of happiness. The staff was super knowledgeable and welcoming on board. I was asking so many questions while we were in the water and Bart knew all of the answers. The captain and the rest of the crew were amazing. My friend got a little sick and they helped her so much, and never made her feel bad for getting a little woozy. Their mai tais were also so good, no pineapple juice... like it's supposed to be!! yum!
If you get sick on a boat take a dramamine or something. I could do this trip 100 more times and be amazed every time.

Highly recommend this company - Everything went very smoothly with our trip. Crew was pleasant, extremely helpful, safety conscious, and enthusiastic. I appreciated all the facts they provided while we were in the water about manta rays. They explained how we would enter the water, protect the animals, what to do if our noodle floated away, etc. Appreciate the emphasis on safety esp for the kids in our group. We saw a TON of mantas up close and personal. The sunset prior to snorkeling was beautiful, too. Boat was clean, gear was sanitized and good quality. Can't think of anything they could've done better! It was also a bonus to be on a huge catamaran with steps to the water rather than the small crafts we saw out there. Didn't have any drinks but nice they had hot chocolate/tea afterward and cocktails/pop beforehand,

Manta Rays Sunset Cruise - Great communication, well organized, and well run. All the crew were super friendly and knowledgeable. Swimming with manta rays was a bucket list item and Kona Style made it an unforgettable experience!

Super fun. The crew was... - Super fun. The crew was great. Make sure to get parking validated at check in if you park at the Marriott lot. Saw so many manta rays. Hot chocolate was great after getting out of the water.

A bucket List Experience - The snorkeling experience was incredible. We floated face down, holding on to the float for forty minutes, continuously seeing over eight mantra rays, only inches from our faces. The crew was fantastic from check-in to docking, and the captain made way for a beautiful sunset experience. The crew prepared our equipment and ensured our safety, serving drinks and a great music selection.

Beautiful Mantas - This was our third manta snorkel and second on Konastyle. The captain and crew were attentive and knowledgeable. We had mantas from the moment we entered the water until we got out. The mantas are so beautiful. Snorkeling with mantas is a special experience no matter how many times you have done it. We will definitely take Konastyle again to see the mantas.

Captain and crew were great! - It was quite the experience, based on their advertisements I thought we’d see more Manta Rays than we did but it was pretty cool. The staff was great. Captain and crew were friendly, knowledgeable and fun.
