Well timed fun tour - Dreu has to be about the best tour guide ever! He was hilarious and had a wealth of knowledge. I liked that the tour was smaller and more intimate vs the larger 20+ groups. It allowed us to ask more questions and less waiting around. This was truly a great and safe way to learn about the big island. It even highlighted more places to return to. Thanks for experience!

Best of Hawaii’s nature and informative tour guide - Fantastically organised trip to the falls. Great lunch, stunning botanical gardens and a refreshing swim in a private waterfall area!
It was a relief to be picked up and dropped off at my hostel in Kona.
I can’t thank Stefan enough for taking care of us. Learnt a lot about the island and with his quick help, I found my lost items the very same evening!

Super fun way to get to know the Hilo area - You will see some amazingly beautiful places on this tour and get well acquainted with the west and north of the island. Drue was our guide and he made the day a blast--he's like a Hawaiian Jeff Spicoli who doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to have fun but is very passionate about the Big Island and very committed to making sure people have a memorable experience. The tour is a great value for what you get!

Beautiful waterfalls and coastal views! - This was a really awesome tour! Amazing coastal views along the way and it was great to stop in the botanical gardens and see so many exotic floral and trees. I loved seeing all of the waterfall's. Akaka was unfortunately closed for repair but swimming in a very impressive Kulaniapia Falls was definitely a highlight of the day, as was stopping by Rainbow Falls after. Our tour guide Dreu was amazing, very energetic, funny and full of info and knowledge. Thank you for a great time!

10/10 - Our guide- Drew Basaldua was amazing!
Very knowledgeable with location information, legends, stories, and fun facts. Inclusive of everyone. We had 11 stops and I don’t have a favorite, they were all unique and special. Checked everything I had on our Hawii list of to do’s! A must do, ALL day adventure!! Have Fun!! Dee and Jared, Michigan

Discover the soul of the island! - This extra special thank you note sent to Dreu Basaldua, Guide with Wasabi Tours holds more appreciation than any words can say …..for he is among the nicest person we have ever known ...and he’ll never be forgotten for the thoughtfulness, passion and knowledge of the culture. He kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. The view from Waipio Valley Lookout was amazing, the multiple waterfalls were spectacular, historical sites memorable and botanical garden breathtaking, to name a few. Mahalo from Greg & Anna
