This is a Private tour. Just me and your small group.
I will make sure you see the best things on this side of the island. Being in a small group, and private vehicle allows us to do the stuff the big vans and busses don’t do.
Take home the best souvenir. . . These amazing, once in a lifetime experiences.

Rainbow Falls - The best time to see the rainbow is between 9 and 10:00. This waterfall is the most visited of all the falls on all the islands. A short walk leads to an amazing spot.
-
Hamakua Coast - This coastline is the route for most of the stops on this tour. It feels a bit like stepping back in time with its one-lane roads, old bridges, and stunning scenery around every corner.
-
Laupahoehoe Beach Park - Meaning “leaf of lava,” Laupahoehoe refers to the angular lava peninsula formed by ancient pāhoehoe (smooth lava) flowing to create the area where the village of Laupahoehoe was built. This Beach Park offers breathtaking ocean views, crashing surf, and rugged lava rocks. The Mana here is incredible.
-
Onomea Bay - Onomea Bay was carved by the waters of Onomea and Alakahi streams, which originate all the way up in Mauna Kea, and by the wind and waves that cut into the lava cliffs of the coastline. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and tropical storms have also dramatically altered the landscape. This historic place is amazing!
-
Hilo Farmers Market - An outdoor market with over 200 local farmers and vendors. It’s a great way to explore historic downtown Hilo, and there are usually plenty of food trucks around.
-
Big Island Candies - Visit the actual facility and see them hand-making gourmet Hawaiian chocolates, cookies, and candies, including our world-renowned Macadamia Nut Chocolate Dipped Shortbread.
-
Akaka Falls State Park - The stunning free-falling ‘Akaka Falls plunges 442 feet into a stream-eroded gorge. A roughly half-mile loop walk to and from the falls is filled with lush landscaping and another smaller waterfall.
-
Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve and Garden - These botanical gardens are often considered the most beautiful in Hawaii. They are set in a valley that opens up to Onomea Bay.
