A well spent 90 minutes - We very much enjoyed our walk through the cloud forest. Besides being very beautiful we learned alot from our great guide Anna. You could tell she enjoyed her job and enjoyed educating us visitors in a very low key, funny way.

Wonderful experience - Just a lovely, rejuvenating experience after several busy days on the Big Island - the pure air in the cloud forest will make your lungs happy! I took a yoga class and then a tour. Anna was a great guide. Would recommend to anyone!

Peace - This is a great way to spend 1 & 1/2 hours slowly strolling through nature, stopping and taking in everything around you. A lovely, peaceful forest and a great guide (Bri). Would highly recommend when in Kona.

Rare opportunity - cloud forest sanctuary - Excellent tour - very knowledgeable guide, Anna. She will leave you with super interesting facts and stories about this 15 acre reforestation program. Beautiful trees and plants, super chill hike. If you are visiting the big island, immerse yourself into this jungle paradise!

Tranquil and inspiring - Anna is an awesome guide. She is very educated and clearly loves what she does and shares that with others everyday. The sights and sounds were very soothing. Most relaxed I have ever felt on a hike. I would recommend the 2.5 hour tour if you have time because we didn't want to leave and were sad when the tour was over. Also, if you see the rooster in the forest, say Hei Hei.😁 We went on Halloween and they dressed up! Too cute. I give 11 out of 10. If you feel like the fee is too high, just know that it is supporting a wonderful.conservation effort and if it wasn't for the founder and his family dedicating there lives to a cause they believe in, this one and only U.S. cloud forest wouldn't exist today. Also, I believe the guy who checked us in was named Jason? But he was awesome too.

Heavenly experience in the cloud forest - My husband and I took some friends with us to the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary for a sound bath and a guided hike through the cloud forest. This was my second visit to the sanctuary and I enjoyed it just as much the second time as the first time. I highly recommend both experiences. The sound bath is a meditation in the cloud forest to the sounds of gongs, singing bowls, and chimes. It was very relaxing to listen to the musical sounds as well as he bird songs, as we let the stresses of life leave us and immerse ourselves into the natural surroundings. Our guide on the forest hike was excellent. It was obvious that he loved the sanctuary, loved nature, and loved meeting new people. We learned a lot about the forest plants and ecosystem. There was a light rain during the entire hike which added to the ambiance of being in a cloud forest. I highly recommend this experience for both Big Island residents and visitors.

Peaceful Walk in the Cloud Forest - Peaceful Walk through the Cloud Forest Informative experience. Anna was great as she explained the hybrid reforestation. We learned the names of several trees. Loved the beautiful trunks of the Rainbow Eucalyptus. Would like to try the Sound Meditation the next time.
