Great experience! - Had a great experience with easy check-in, directions, and well run operation. Saw at least three rays with some of them doing spins right in front of us and rubbing against us. Time spent with ray’s was plenty and always felt safe.

Awesome Manta Ray Experience - We went on the 930 tour with captain Matt, Payton and TKO and we had a blast! They were so educational, they put safety first (for humans and mantas) and they made sure we were in the best spot to see mantas! The mantas were incredible and HUGE! We will definitely be booking again when we are back in Kona! Such an incredible experience and loved the crew and their personalities!

Unforgettable experience! - My husband and I had an incredible experience watching the manta rays! We reserved through email and they provided all the information you need. Funny story, my husband and I were getting stung with a Portuguese man-o-war during the time we were in the water. It was very distracting and extremely painful. And it was only the two of us out of all the people in the water including other companies that got stung! Luckily they had vinegar to neutralize the stings! But we managed to still have a good experience with the manta rays. The guys that work on the boat were knowledgeable and helpful throughout the excursion. They assured everybody that we were in a safe place and they were prepared if anything goes awry. Some tips for this tour: - Email the company if you have any questions! They are very prompt and will answer all your questions. - Checking in was a breeze, make sure you go to the appropriate location to check in according to the email well in advance before your reservation time! We checked in at 3:00 and our reservation was at 7:50pm. - Give your self ample time for finding parking and walking to the docking station. - The wet suits aren’t necessary but they made getting into the water more comfortable. If we didn’t have them on, we probably would have gotten more stings from the man-o-war. - Most importantly, have fun! The manta rays will be up close and personal with you. It’s an incredible experience.

Awesome adventure and trip! - Unbelievable experience! Probably one of the top 3 things I’ve ever done on vacation. We saw at least half a dozen mantas. They literally get with millimeters of you as they feed. It was surreal. This company was great! The Captain Mike, Greg, Payton and Will really made everything seamless. Do read the reservation info carefully. We missed the address in town for check-in and went straight to the dock. It was not an issue, but our mistake nonetheless. It’s a short trip, so I’d save the money and go with this company. You meet them at the dock, there isn’t an office for them there, but who cares? The trip on the boat is a few minutes. I cannot recommend this adventure and the company enough. Incredible experience!

Safety Ignored: Dismissive Crew and Poor Emergency Handling - We booked the manta ray night snorkel on 8/17/25. The manta rays themselves were beautiful, but the way this tour was handled when several guests were stung by jellyfish was unacceptable. Four of us, including myself and my friend, were stung before the mantas even appeared. The crew told us to rinse with fresh water and vinegar — which is not the correct treatment — and refused to take us back right away even though shore was less than 5 minutes away. Instead, they called an ambulance and told it to wait while we sat in pain for another 15 minutes until the tour ended. We should have been taken back immediately. When we asked questions about what had stung us, the captain argued that they weren’t box jellyfish. It wasn’t until the diver who was with us confirmed she had seen them too that they admitted we were right. We had no phones in the water to look up treatment ourselves, and instead of being educated, we were left to keep pressing for answers while the crew seemed annoyed and unprepared. Meanwhile, my friend was in agony, and the captain kept brushing it off, repeating: “But you saw the manta rays, didn’t you? You got to experience it, right?!” It felt dismissive and more focused on avoiding refunds than on helping people in pain. What makes this even worse is that the next group was sent out without any warning that jellyfish were present, even though multiple people had just been stung badly enough that an ambulance was called. That shows a complete lack of proper safety training and care for guests. Wildlife encounters are unpredictable — we all understand that. But how a company responds to emergencies is 100% within their control. Guests deserve correct first aid, honest information, and immediate care, not dismissive comments and delays. Until this company makes serious changes to its safety protocols, I cannot recommend them.
