Amazing! - This was an amazing experience! We (me, husband, kids 15, 17) were impressed from start to finish with the company from the wetsuits, boat ride, instructions, information, and hot chocolate at the end, it was fantastic. We were hoping to see just 1 or 2 manta rays and we saw 5! They were everywhere and we absolutely loved when they belly rolled underneath the board again and again. Highly recommend!

Night Snorkeling with Rays! - This was one of the most unique experiences we have ever done! It was just awesome to see the Rays that up close and personal having their meals. The water was pretty rough that night but we felt save the entire time. Very unique once in a lifetime type thing. It’s a must do!

Just do it!!!!! - Sea Quest did an amazing job!!! Everyone was so nice and helpful! The wetsuits kept us warm and the swim over to the board was easy. We saw 4 huge rays and got “kissed” several times. I got sea sick but it was still 10/10!!!! You won’t be disappointed choosing Sea Quest!!! Just do it!!! So incredible!!

Experience of a Lifetime!! - My cousin & I went on the Night Manta Ray Snorkel experience on March 1st. The ocean had been very rough that day and we weren’t sure if the tour would get cancelled but it didn’t. Our group was led by Captain John who was a most skilled and hilarious Captain. His crew consisted of 3 other people. Michelle who was a pro at explaining everything in detail and made us feel very secure & safe. She was obviously very passionate about the Manta Rays and knew them by name based on their markings. In the water we were accompanied by Jerome who was also a very skilled and strong swimmer. He helped me to the raft because the ocean waves were turbulent that night. Andrew stayed on the boat with Captain John and assisted each of us into the ocean and at the end back onto the boat. Seeing the Manta Rays up close & personal like that is an experience that I will never, ever forget. I can’t even put into words how amazing the whole experience was!! I highly, highly recommend Sea Quest, and even though some might feel it’s an expensive excursion I will attest to the fact that it is SO Worth every Penny!! Don’t Delay- Book Today- Go & See the Manta Ray(s)!!!! Donna💕

This crew is 10+ star! - First let me say that from the first call to the end of the evening- Sea Quest was incredible to work with. You will read other reviews that say that the snorkeling with manta rays is incredible and it is! It was one of the best experiences of our lives! We can’t recommend it highly enough. But the focus of this review is on the crew. Captain Brendan took us out to the site. Luca and Hazel were in the water with us and they were so helpful and informative! It truly made the experience amazing! What made this stand out was one of our group tends to get sea sick and when she needed to go back to the boat, they took her right in. And when, on the boat, she developed a terrible bloody nose from vomiting- Captain Brendan and deck hand Kapono swooped in and took AMAZING care of her! The rest of our party had no idea until the adventure was over that there had even been an issue because the crew took such incredible care of her. Once back to the shore, they and everyone working, made sure she had everything she needed. Another worker Rick came by repeatedly to check on her and bring supplies as needed. Captain Brendan stayed close and checked in repeatedly. Yes the manta rays are INCREDIBLE but this crew, they are what make this a 10 star company and we will return to them every time we come to this island.

A Night To Remember - This was our second time swimming with the mantas. After our visit last year, we were certain that if we returned to Kona this would be a “ MUST DO” . Just like the first time, this adventure did not disappoint. The company is top notch ! Their staff are friendly , extremely knowledgeable and very customer oriented. We felt safe and secure and heard when questions were asked or personal assistance was needed. Don’t miss your chance to see the majestic creatures up close and personal. It is simply breath taking . Thank you SeaQuest!🌊

AN ABSOLUTE MUST DO! - Exciting night! Crew and mantas made for an unforgettable experience. We had been given some tips that I’d like to pass on. Some tour companies were a shorter drive from our hotel, but had a longer boat ride to get to the area than Sea Quest. The shorter boat ride (5mins) was preferred especially on the return. I’m sure for the poor people who got seasick too. Which brings me to the second tip, Dramamine! Even if you don’t normally get sea/motion sick, it’s a good idea to take some. People threw up in the water and people around them couldn’t continue. We were told Sea Quest provides wetsuits. Others will rent them to you. Bring towels, dry clothes and get there early. There were other tours and boating activities going on. You may need to walk a bit after finding a parking spot. We saw about 6 mantas close enough to touch, but don’t! The crew was fun, informative and helpful for those who needed it. My husband who is an avid diver said this was one of the best experiences he’s had in the water!

Memorable Experience in Hawaii - Sea Quest is certainly one of the premier excursions for snorkeling and the manta ray tours as many other guests noted that other smaller operators (and less expensive) worked out of vans and small shacks in the area. They are professional, and have a great and knowledgeable staff. The boats are well equipped and experienced crew. We went on the 2nd evening Manta Ray tour and overall it was a very memorable experience. However, a few issues; they did not have a large enough wet suit for one of us (6’4”, 200 lbs) and they said it was the largest one, it was super tight and actually uncomfortable during the excursion. The biggest issue we had was a foreign family (Chinese) was on our tour and had a limited grasp of English, Sea Quest needs to offer multilingual instructions and perhaps a video before the tour departs, explaining how to snorkel and how to behave around the manta rays. The family was talking the entire time, kicking about under water and not only disturbing the rays from coming close, but causing a disturbance for all the other guests for what should have been a lifelong memory of seeing the rays, but turned into a stressful negative experience. The rays gave us quite a show, even touching many of the participants, could only imagine what else we would have seen if the family was not kicking under water and paying attention to the guides. Like most of the excursions on the island, it was expensive, but where else can you snorkel with manta rays?
