Best experience ever! - Hands down the best experience! I found Iruka on TikTok and so glad I did! The crew made sure we felt comfortable but also made sure we knew the rules for the mantas! I would 100 percent suggest this tour to anyone!

Mitch, Justics?, Scott, and Tamme. Thank you so much - We visited Hawaii for our honeymoon from Korea. Of all the experiences I had in Hawaii, this was the most meaningful and enjoyable. I didn't regret spending any money on it. It was such a rewarding experience that I voluntarily tipped the staff even though they didn't ask for it. Mitch, Justics?, Scott, and Tamme. Thank you so much. I can't swim at all, but the staff hugged me and helped me flip over, which made it so safe. The Japanese staff member shared the video using AirDrop. It was the best. I'll cherish the memories for a long time.

Fun Experience - Awesome experience ! We did the sunset tour and truly enjoyed it. The staff (Diego, Mitch, Faith, and co.) were all very helpful and shared tidbits about the local terrain, the sea life and manta rays on our trip to the cove. The boat ride was fine and we got to see a beautiful sunset. The highlight of the trip was definitely the manta rays - these are majestic creatures, very graceful and super gentle. At one point, there were 3 of them circling around our board. There were other fish in there as well - not as colorful as the reef ones, but definitely fun to watch. We were in the water for about 45 minutes and enjoyed every minute. Thoroughly recommended.

Great snorkeling experience and manta ray viewing - The overall experience was very good. The drive to find the link up spot was very easy. Check-in was quick (make sure you review & sign your waiver). The wetsuit rentals were $10 and worth it. All the gear was clean and serviceable. Ms. Tami, the boat crews guys and the captain of the boat (I forgot her name) were great and humorous!! They made the experience very enjoyable. Drive to and from the view site was smooth and quick! On the way back you get complimentary snacks and hot coco! Keep in mind Manga Ray sighting is a nature sighting so you must be patient! It took about 15-20min to actual see some but once we did the wait was worth it all. I would do this again with the same crew!

Mixed experience with Kona Manta Ray Snorkel - We joined Kona Manta Ray Snorkel Tours and overall the manta ray experience itself was fine – we did see mantas up close a few times, which was the highlight. The price was one of the lowest among similar tours, and like the other boats we went out and got our time in the water. However, there were some big downsides. Unlike other companies that include wetsuits, here you first have to drive to a different location about 20 km away, wait outside for 20–30 minutes, and then go into a small room where you are asked to pay extra for everything – wetsuits, a sponge, even small boxes for masks. This felt like nickel-and-diming, which left a bad impression. The boat itself was just a small inflatable packed with as many people as possible. The engine noise was so loud that it was impossible to hear what the guide was saying. I wasn’t expecting a full lecture about mantas, but some basic information would have been nice. The biggest disappointment was the attitude at the end. After paying extra for wetsuits ($20 each), when returning them one of the crew members told us in a very rude way to turn it inside out and then just threw it on the floor. That kind of behavior felt unprofessional and unnecessary. In short: the mantas were amazing as always, but the overall organization, upselling, and lack of courtesy make me hesitate to recommend this company compared to others.

Poorly maintained equipment - 2 flotation devices were used for viewing. One with a PVC handel that people held on with arms extended. One with guests lying on top with a viewing area. I was assigned the float primary used for top viewing but in the water with my arms extended. I was instructed to hold on to a flimsy rope ( not rigid PVC ) like the other float. The rope had seperated from some hold points. The wave motion repeatedly pushed the canvas float into my head (for 30-40 minutes ) causing a severe " road rash" on my forehead. I also suffered a bloody scrape on one hand from rubbing underneath the float while holding the flimsy rope. The whole thing was a terrible experience. The operator did not properly maintain this equipment and should not have booked so many passengers that I was unable to use the crowded float with rigid PVC handles. I would recommend using another tour operator.
