- H26M+2F Kahaluu-Keauhou - We start the evening by heading down the Kona coast on our 50’ catamaran to Manta Ray Village. Once we arrive at the sight, receive a complete safety briefing before jumping into the ocean to snorkel with the manta rays. Afterwards, join us back on the boat for hot cocoa, hot tea and chocolate chip cookies as we take in the night lights of Kona town on our boat ride back to Kailua town.

Experience the mesmerizing lights of Kona from our roomy 50’ catamaran, before embarking on an unforgettable journey - night snorkeling with the majestic manta rays! Upon your arrival, obtain a comprehensive understanding of one of the most enigmatic creatures of the ocean. Engage with your professional/certified guides in the water as you snorkel with the impressive hahalua (manta rays). Snorkel gear, instructions, wetsuits and swim noodles are provided. Complimentary water, juice, soft drinks, hot cocoa and cookies are included. Guests have the option of buying beer, wine, and cocktails from our extensive bar.
- Any tour participants that are getting in the water MUST KNOW HOW TO SWIM without the assistance of a flotation device
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- If guest is not a competent swimmer (as determined by the Captain and/or crew), they will be directed to immediately return to the vessel. In such instances the guest will NOT be refunded
- Children under the age of 5 are NOT allowed in the water and must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the boat
- Guests are asked to check-in at our retail outlet 45 MINUTES PRIOR to your scheduled departure time. We are located in the Kona Square Shopping Complex. Our address is 75-5669 Alii Drive, #1107, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
- We offer discounted self parking at the Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha Hotel. Parking charge is $13 for up to 5.5 hours. Please remember to bring your parking ticket with you at check-in.
- Not recommended for travelers that are not strong swimmers or that do not know how to snorkel
- Not recommended for travelers that are prone to seasickness / motion sickness
- Not recommended for travelers with a body mass index (BMI) higher than 36. We reserve the right to deny water entry to any individual with a BMI above 36.

Kona Style has the best boat and the best crew on the water. - This was by far the very best Manta snorkel I've ever been on. Late night is the way to go. Mantas were everywhere. It was crazy. The crew let us stay late till the Mantas left. Felt so safe with the crew, can't say enough great things about this company.

Great experience - Price was great through Wyndham. Safety briefs were given and was very important to them. Crew was awesome and experienced. They gave information as the mantas swam by and helped with any needs on and off the boat.

Once in a Lifetime - This trip was one of the best trips in a lifetime. I have been around the world taking boat trips and by far this was a buck list item for anyone .The crew, the captain were amazing. The knowledge about the island, the Mantas was outstanding. They were so helpful with your gear and making sure that you were comfortable. They were there to help with any of your needs. I would give them 10 stars!

Night Manta Snorkle - This was a once in a lifetime adventure! The crew was absolutely the best, they take care of your every need and are super friendly, knowledgeable and do a great job of putting your mind at ease, you are in the Pacific Ocean at night swimming with 1000lb fish after all. You can tell they actually care because they actually learn your name and where your from. I can't recommend them enough.

One Off the List - An experience you’ll always remember the Rays came swam right up to us within inches. More than what we expected well worth it if this is all you do while you are here in Kona. The boat is well taken care of comfortable and the Crew is amazingly helpful in everything to make your trip the greatest. Highly recommended as a bucket list item. Thanks again to Kona Style.

Best experience on the vacation - Outstanding tour, we had 8 in our group. Service was excellent, very safe and professional. First time to see Mantas for all of us, if you only have time for one outing this is what I'd choose. We enjoyed it so much we came back for the captain Cook daytime outing as well. Again outstanding service. Highly recommend Kona Style.

Yes! Definitely yes!! We are already planning the next time! - Absolutely one of the best experiences we have ever done!
The crew was amazing! Very knowledgeable, helpful and caring. You always felt safe and secure, and it was truly a must do! When else can you see mantas within inches of you!?!
Refreshments were served, cocktails are available, a wetsuit top was provided, if you chill easy, you might want to bring full wetsuit! But soooooooo worth the cold!!
I kind of hate to leave a positive review because I loved it and want to do it again without 5000 other people there!

A must do! What are you waiting for? - We were recommended to do this tour by some family that visited the island in 2023. We booked the tour expecting to see maybe 1-2 mantas, and boy were our expectations totally blown out of the water! We had a smaller group with one light board, and I kid you not, we saw about 14 mantas gather for a feeding frenzy! Everyone's experience will be different, but we left feeling that we just experienced something other worldly... The staff and crew were all wonderful and added to this amazing experience. If you are contemplating booking this excursion, just do it.. No matter how many mantas you see, you will not be disappointed seeing these magnificent creatures up close and personal!

Fun and done - We lucked out. Nice sunset after several tours were canceled that day. They provide shirt wetsuits and I had a swim shirt on. Great guides. We were told not to touch the rays. But what if they touch us!... Magnificent to see the wide open mouths and the undersides of the rays. Sometimes they were so close your eyes crossed!
We probably wont' ever get back to the Big Island so I only had this chance. My husband road on the boat but didn't snorkel. He was not alone.
This was suggested by a friend and the office was across the street from us so it worked out great.
