Great boat, great food, friendly/helpful staff - (We took this trip in August 2023 with our three school-aged children. Just found my notes, nearly two years later - sorry for the late review...)
We've been on a number of these group boat tours over the years, but this one really stood out. A few highlights:
- Staff was great. There were seven crew members on the boat, all very friendly and helpful. Briefings were concise but comprehensive with a strong focus on safety. There was always someone at every ladder to help guests in and out of the water. Crew members were in the water with us to point out good snorkel spots. On the boat, they would alert the guests when we passed a pod of dolphins or a school of flying fish.
- Food was of surprising quality. I don't expect much from the food on these tours, given the large number of guests to service and the limited facilities on board. The food on this boat was a positive surprise: thick, juicy, fresh-cooked burgers; nice selection of pastries; juices, sodas and virgin cocktails; and cookies!
- Great selection of water toys. The boat itself is equipped with a tall/fast waterslide, a dive platform and a high jump suitable for flips - the kids loved it! The swim ladders were nice and deep, and the water was super clear. The crew provided plenty of gear: snorkels, fins, noodles, kiddie floats, paddle boards, a big foam raft, even windowed kickboards for easy viewing from above the water.
- Lots of shade
- Multiple, clean bathrooms!

Wow! Best snorkeling experience hands down - Wow! I have been on two other snorkel trips and none compared to this experience. The food they provides was amazing, the boat was so much fun (they had so many fun things to swim with during our snorkeling time like a paddle board and yoga mat) and the crew was awesome. I highly recommend going on this snorkeling trip and especially great for those with families as we had two almost 5 year olds. Will definitely book again!

Amazing snorkel trip with Body Glove! Local for 40+ years and still blown away. Mahalo, crew! - A Perfect Day on the Water – Even for a Local!
As someone who’s lived on the Big Island for over 40 years, I’ve seen a lot of what this island has to offer — and I can honestly say that the Deluxe Snorkel Trip with Body Glove Hawaii was absolutely top-notch. Sometimes, you think these tours are just for visitors, but this experience reminded me just how special our island really is.
The crew was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They made the whole trip feel easy and fun from the moment we stepped on board. The boat itself was super clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax — shaded spots, sunny spots, and even a smooth ride out to the snorkel site.
The snorkel spot they took us to had clear waters, healthy reefs, and so much marine life to enjoy. The gear was high-quality, and the crew made sure everyone was safe and confident before jumping in.
The food was a pleasant surprise — fresh, tasty, and way better than I expected for a boat trip! Between the breakfast, lunch, and friendly service throughout the day, I felt completely taken care of.
Whether you’re visiting or have lived here your whole life like I have, this trip is absolutely worth doing. Mahalo to the Body Glove team for reminding me how magical our ocean playground really is.

Truly a must-do cruise!! - This was an exceptional experience!! It is definitely a must-do for visitors to the area - families, friends, young and old. Such a lovely boat ride with an Incredibly friendly and accommodating crew. We were served a great breakfast (yogurt, fruit, granola and pastries) and lunch (burgers and veggie burgers). The food was delicious and there was plenty to eat and drink.
When we got to our destination there were so many options for activities: high jump, slide, snorkeling, paddle boarding, a large water mat for relaxing and even a cool little floating thing for young kids.
The vessel itself was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone.
Most importantly though was the crew….their friendliness and service really made the difference! Every single crew member was professional and took safely seriously while also being incredibly approachable and attentive. Shout out to Captain Erica, Adam, and Brianna!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Well worth it - Fun morning , great crew and boat. Would have been nice to go a little longer and down as far as Captain Cook but all is good. Done a lot of snorkel boat tours in Hawaii, Caribbean and Mexico. I have to say the Body Glove team and their boat crew are absolutely top notch, very attentive to their customers and take care of everything and everyone from Infants to super seniors.

Amazing experience - must do! - This was great family fun. The boat was excellent (spacious, safe, clean) and the crew was amazing. Very impressed by all crew members. They made us feel like guests on board. We saw whales, dolphins and the snorkeling was amazing. The kids loved all the water toys, slide and high dive. Lunch was delicious and it was an experience our family wont forget. Highly recommend Body glove!

Great family trip for all ages - Best option for family snorkel trip. Glad we chose something with lots of swim and play options … plus food and a good bar. There were other boats going out at the same time and we were glad that we picked Body Glove.

Beautiful and fun adventure! - My sister and I had an amazing time. It was her first real snorkeling adventure and the crew were very hopeful. I know there were seven crew members, but I only remember Melissa, Brianna, Evan, and Tyler by name. Everyone went above and beyond. We had such a great time with the music and scenery. I highly recommend this adventure for sure!

Perfect Day with Kids! - Such a fun day with our kids. Everything was great from the start. We saw humpback whales on the way to our snorkel spot. My kids loved the slide and jumping platform. After we snorkeled we went looking for more sealife and found a pod of melon headed whales, over 100 whales! It was amazing to see. Then we were joined by some spinner dolphins as we headed to the pier. Highly recommend this tour!

No refund - My wife got sick before the trip and I canceled ahead of time. They did not offer a refund despite my advanced notice. As a Hawaii resident, I’ll never book with them again.
