Love love love this waterfall - Five out of five this was the most beautiful waterfall and relaxing and peaceful place to be. It was so amazing. Everything was smooth. They even have showers for you for after I loved everything about the Sacred place. Thank you so much. Mahalo will definitely come back again.

A piece of paradise - Beautiful lush and private location, kind staff, and a wonderful (uncrowded!) activity to do on the Hilo side of the Big Island. We went with our 3 school-aged kids and it was a perfect family activity. I would recommend this place for families with older kids (who can swim and navigate slippery rocks), and would be a romantic spot for couples I'm sure. Definitely rent a SUP or other water floatation equipment to enjoy the falls even more.

Waterfall Swimming Delight! - The property, trails, and all the ammenities were perfect. We swam and enjoyed the waterfall - all to ourselves - for a couple of hours. Great to see a disc golf course there too. Highly recommend a day pass experience and hope to return a s overnight patron someday.

Fantastic Fall! - Loved that we had all day to enjoy the falls and hike around, we left and returned after sightseeing to cool off. Recommendation: Take plenty of mosquitos spray…they are fierce!

Magical Experience - Stunning location, well maintained trails and facilities. There’s enough guidance available to get your waterfall experience going, but not so much it’s like you are a captive audience. I recommend hiking the trail down to see the other waterfalls and bamboo varieties. Truly magical—I will be back!

Unique experience in beautiful isolated area. - Part of the adventure is getting to the falls. They are not that far from central Hilo, but driving into the hills to get there along a narrow mostly one lane road is part of the adventure. Once there, you check in, get a brief overview from host, and walk a somewhat steep trail down to the falls. There is a less steep route through a cultivated bamboo Forrest which may be easier to navigate. In either case it does not take long to make the falls. The falls spill into a freshwater pond/lake. You can rent a kyak or paddle board once at the pond on a hourly basis. A beautiful scene awaits with the water flowing into the pond, from the falls. You can also take a short hike along the creek flowing from the pond and see additional small waterfalls along the way. Getting into and out of the pond can be a challenge as it is rocky below the surface, so use caution. Overall a really nice place to explore.

Cost too high - While the waterfall was beautiful, the cost was exorbitant for what you get. The kayaks and other water craft should have been included in the cost as opposed to an additional fee.
