A must do! - We had an amazing time with Monet and Brenden! We did both the safari and night manta rays diving on the same days and they were incredible experiences. Monet and Brenden know what they do and take care of you. We were able to swim with a big pod of dolphins who played with the boat as well as a ray manta during the day. We were also able to swim with several manta rays at night and this is such a special experience to see them so close! We really appreciated the videos they sent us. They also gave us recommandations of things to do and it. It is a small company and you should definitely check them out :)

Ocean Safari - Amazing experience! Monet was so kind and extremely knowledge about marine life. Brendan and Monet found us some sharks & whales to swim with while keeping us safe! Would highly recommend!

Excellent trip - Fully recommend. Knowledgeable friendly crew who wereexcellent at spottingthe wildlife. During the trip we were able to snorkel with pilot whales and sharks 😀

Water safari worth the trip!!! - Great day on the water.
We came to Hawaii on a cruise ship. We arrived at 0700 and weren’t sure if we would make it on time. We were in the first group and arrived just in time. We're glad we made it. The couple running the tour are very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They told us it was a safari, and they were correct. We started out looking in deeper water for the larger game. We found them! We were able to get in the water with a group of Pilot Whales. AMAZING! Then we headed to another area to swim with some younger sharks. Our last stop was another area to see if we could find Manta Rays. We found three of them. Another amazing experience! Again, what a fun day. They even included a few underwater photos for us.

Swimming Beside Pilot Whales – The Highlight of Our Kona Trip! - Brenden and Monet were the best crew we met during our week in Kona! We found this tour on TripAdvisor and booked it for our last day. After seeing the night manta rays and snorkeling at Captain Cook Bay earlier in the week, we wanted to venture offshore to look for bigger wildlife.
At first, we weren’t sure if we would be able to get into the water, but we did—and it was incredible! The crew provided fins and snorkeling gear, and Monet even led us to swim right alongside a group of pilot whales. It was our first time seeing whales so close, a truly unforgettable experience. We saw manta rays again!
Monet also captured photos and videos for us for free. This 4-hour trip ended up being the highlight of our entire vacation. Highly recommend this tour and amazing crew!

Amazing! Dont miss out - Great crew and great excursion. The crew was very knowledgable and did everything to keep us safe, happy, comfortable, and ofcourse grabbed every chance to show us amazing things. We saw spinner dolphins, pilot whales, rays, a shark. Monet and kyla even checked out a blob of whale poop to make sure it wasnt something else big in the water. They keep groups small which was great for me and my kids. That also put us in good positions for swimming with the pilot whales. Captain brenden had an eagle eye and could spot out everything and was always aware of surroundings. Thank you ocean eco tours for the opportunity to be in magic!

Unforgettable wildlife encounters with amazing guides! - We can not recommend Ocean Eco Tours enough! Monet and Brenden were so friendly and welcoming from the start. They shared tons of interesting facts about the wildlife, and we were lucky enough to see dolphins and manta rays! I was a little nervous getting in the water but Monet made me feel comfortable and stayed by my side the entire time. Couldnt have asked for a better experiace or crew! Hightly reccomend booking this tour!

Best snorkel trip we’ve ever been on! - We booked the offshore snorkel and it surpassed our expectations by a long shot! Monet & Brendan were amazing & really knew the waters. We saw spotted dolphins, rough toothed dolphins, pilot whales, mahi, and marlin. I loved how intimate their trip is compared to bigger boat excursions. They really do a good job to ensure you have a great experience. If you are ever on the Big Island, definitely check them out!! You won't regret it!

The Experience of a Lifetime! - An unforgettable day on the water — absolutely magical!
We had the most INCREDIBLE experience with Ocean EcoTours and can’t recommend them enough. Monet and Brennan were not only super knowledgeable and professional, but also so genuinely fun and passionate about what they do. Their energy made the whole day even more special!
We started off with spinner dolphins coming right up to our boat, jumping and playing in the waves, so magical. Then, we visited a shark cave where we saw several baby sharks tucked away in the lava rock — surreal. Also, so many pretty fish at this spot!
As if that wasn’t enough, we crossed paths with a gorgeous spotted eagle ray, and later on, two huge pods of pilot whales! We even got to swim alongside two oceanic whitetip sharks — an absolutely jaw-dropping experience I’ll never forget.
Everything was SO respectful to the animals and the ocean, and the entire tour was seamless from start to finish. If you're visiting the Big Island and looking for a day that’s truly once-in-a-lifetime, this is it. Thank you Monet and Brennan!!
