Great for family snorkeling at Captain Cook’s Bay! - It was a lot of fun. The crew was very friendly and helpful. They also provide different options for younger kids if they don’t feel comfortable, wearing snorkeling gears. My 5-YO enjoyed the see-through boogie board, while my 7-YO snorkeled with regular kid gears.

Snorkeling at its finest - The snorkeling was wonderful. Having dolphins follow you in the boat was real neat and getting a photo of Captain Cook's monument was a pleasant surprise.

Best part of the week! - Ok so this was great! We even did manta snorkeling this week and this was still almost better! We went with my parents and twin 6 year olds. My mom loved it so much! My dad couldn’t snorkel very much due to health and I could tell he was bummed the entire time. Me and my husband had a great time with the kids.we saw dolphins jumping and playing in the water, a lot of the time they even were swimming right near our boat! It was surreal! My kids were both in good life jackets and had floats that we could hold on to while him and I were able to snorkel. My kids are not qualified swimmers but felt fine in the water. But this is the ocean! Not just the pool! We both wore the life belts to make it easier for us to push them. Both my kids even went down the water slide! My husband waited at the bottom for them to help them up. What I really loved was there were plenty of folks there to help with life jackets and floats and whatever you needed. The captain was great, I felt like the jokes were like being on the jungle cruise. There were a few employees in the water to keep an eye out on safety. My son is a wise cracker and they loved it. The snorkeling was beautiful! I know if it were just me and my husband it would have been a lot more relaxing but I’m so glad we took the littles as well. I would just say eat before hand. You have a 50 minute ride before snorkeling and then maybe bring a snack during. Again I have two 6 year olds and they loved it and we were so proud of how they did and thank you to the crew for being so much fun to them!!

Fantastic for the whole family - even kiddos! - Captain Chris & the crew were wonderful. We took our daughter, son-in-law, and 3 grandsons (ages 2, 4 & 6). We all had a great time. We saw needlefish, trevally, an eel, and many other small fish while snorkeling. From the boat, we saw pods of spinner dolphins and a hammerhead shark!!! We will definitely do this outing again when we come back to Kona.

Kealakekua Bay is not to be missed - We are senior citizens who take this tour every year. The 45 minute cruise each way is comfortable because the boat is large. Kealakekua Bay is a very sheltered cove with beautiful deep coral reefs. Every time we go, we discover fish we’d never seen before and we’ve done quite a bit of snorkeling. This tour offers flotation devices for those who aren’t good floaters.

Lovely afternoon - This company really cares about the island. They provide reef safe sunscreen, compostable cups for the chips and pineapple and reusable cups for drinks. They have an assortment of flotation devices and the kids had fun jumping from the diving platform and using the slide. The snorkeling gear is adequate. If they dont offer defogger you can ask for it. The assortment of tropical fish you see during your 1.5 hours of snorkeling is amazing and the reef in this area is alive. We saw spinner dolphins on the way out and in but no whales unfortunately. All in all, I recommend.

Great snorkeling - Great crew…they were funny, attentative to our needs and made us comfortable…even did a little snorkeling lesson on boat before for those who had never done it. Didn’t see much under water except a few fish but saw spinner dolphins as we were leaving and a couple of whales. The sweet potato chips were amazing.

Amazing experience. Crew... - Amazing experience. Crew was a lot of fun. The snorkeling was incredible. It was like swimming in an aquarium. The boat ride to the cove was also fantastic. On the way back we saw dolphins swimming along side the boat. Highly recommend.

Nice snorkeling - Huge boat with lots of people. They took us to a nice spot near the Cpt. Cook monument where we saw a decent amount of fish. This was not as spectacular as Bonaire or Puerto Rico, but it was still fantastic with a good amount of fish. When they say they give you a snack, just know that it is some kind of chips and you pay for drinks.
