Excelnnet highlight of our Hawaii trip. - Very welcoming, family-like crew. Food was excellent and drinks were great too. The history guide was very knowledgeable and explained the historical facts in a fun yet informative way. The musician and singer was just real pleasure to listen to.

A nice night on the water - It is VERY rocky so beware if you forgot your dramamine! Otherwise staff is fantastic and food is great. I had vegan and loved it. The history is interesting and the live music is great. We got to watch the sun set too. A nice time on the ocean!

Nice Cruise to Chill - The staff and service was top notch. They made sure you were taken care of. The dinner was actually pretty good. Views were also beautiful. I was just a little bored at times and the waters were a bit choppy so it wasn't as enjoyable. Not their fault of course. I'd say if you're looking for a more lively cruise this isn't for you... for some history.. the purpose is served!!

Rock the boat - Food was great, friendly staff, good drinks. The boat is small and if you’re prone to seasickness don’t go. Our entire group was sick by the time we got back to the dock.

Historical Dinner Cruise to Kealakekua Bay - I have taken this particular cruise 3 times now, most recently in July 2025. I like this cruise because it is not a big party and drinking cruise, it is a beautiful, romantic and informative tour. Upon boarding, you find a table to sit at. The crew members are top-notch. They are attentive and engaging. The dinner is not a buffet and there are not any menu "choices" to make. It is a set menu and the crew members bring your food and drinks to each of you, wherever you happen to be sitting. The food is good, (see photo for a perfect representation of what you get) and if you have special dietary needs, they will accommodate you as long as you give them advance notice. One cocktail is complimentary, and you can order additional cocktails at your own expense. There is live narration while you cruise south to Captain Cook, interspersed with easy-listening Hawaiian and romantic music. During the return trip to the pier, you watch the sunset while listening to more music. The only thing I do not care for on this cruise is that instead of continuing to play relaxing music while watching the beautiful sunset and gliding along on the water, they switch to loud party dance music. To me, this ruins the serene mood of the cruise. In my opinion, loud party music does not fit the gorgeous and peaceful ending to this cruise. I don't need to hear the song "YMCA" for the zillionth time. But maybe a lot of folks do like it. The boat returns to the pier just as the sun is setting. This cruise is a winner, except for the tired ol' party music at the end.
