10/10 recommend to a friend! - There were 8 of us on a family trip to hawaii and we had the most amazing day with Morgan as our driver/tour guide. He was so fun, knowledgeable about the island, and the best photographer. We saw so many amazing sights and he was fully prepared with all of the things we needed for our beach time. The van was so comfy and the day flew by (in the best way) ! Highlight of our trip in Hawaii. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see all the cool things Hilo has to offer.

Fantastic tour! - Went to Volcano National Park and it just happened the volcano was erupting! Our wonderful guide, Morgan worked it out so we could get fantastic locations to have a once in a lifetime experience! A day we will never forget!

Hilo private island tour…your way! - Morgan was AWESOME! He was a wealth of knowledge. We told him what we would like to do and he made it happen, providing recommendations along the way! Very communicative prior as well. Super easy to book and had no worries about making back to ship on time. Cannot recommend enough. Best part was it was just us, not a bunch of people we didn’t know (beware those vendors are at the port ready to herd you like cattle!) so glad we booked and saw Hilo this way, thank you Morgan!

Very Satisfied! - Derek is very professional and his van is exceptionally comfortable and stocked with so many extras that might be needed for your tour day. When I booked I was a little concerned about the relatively small number of reviews, but now I know--- it was difficult to find the place to actually write a review. I was sent a link specifically to review this tour, but then when I clicked on it the link only gave me options to review other tours for some reason. I am glad I went ahead with this tour.

Fabulous Day in Hilo! Our group spend a wonderful day touring with Derek! Strongly recommend booking him! - We visited Volcano National Park, Rainbow Falls, a black sand beach, Five Mile Drive, and Farmer’s Market and enjoyed his commentary along the way. His vehicle is very comfortable with easy entry/exit. You won’t regret booking with him!!!

Fun tour - We had a great time with Derrick. He was very accommodating with our schedule and flexible. The van was super comfy. At the end of the day our kids were tired and we put on a movie for them to watch in the van and we could relax. He offered water as well. He took us to an awesome market where we got fresh fruits coconut water banana bread and Spanish bread. We also got summer rolls with amazing peanut sauce! We went to the kilawea erupting volcano and saw lava spewing out of the crater. We went to rainbow water falls and several scenic spots. Highly recommend!

Wonderful day in Hilo with Derrick - We spent a wonderful day with Derrick. His van is super comfortable, and he is a delightful guide. We were lucky he took us to the best viewing place to see Kilauea erupting! We loved his passion for the Big Island and his knowledge about the best places to see. Would definitely recommend taking his tour!

Great Time in Hilo! - Derrick’s tour around Hilo was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and was able to take us all around Hilo and taught us about the history and culture. We highly recommend Derrick for tours around Hilo, he even gave us recommendations for Kona and we even ran into him again the next day. We were on the Pride of America, he picked us up at the port and made it very easy. We were traveling with a toddler and Derrick made sure to have a car seat safely installed for him prior to the tour.

Nice quaint Hilo experience. - Chose a small private tour of Hilo on our cruise stop. Not disappointed. Derrick was very personable. Nice comfortable van. Derrick was knowledgeable and always wanting to learn more about his island. The tour was very flexible and he allowed us to see what we wanted to see with adequate time each stop. We recommend Derrick for those small personal groups.

Best day in Hilo with Derrick - Derrick was wonderful! He was great with communication in regards to how the day was going to go and what we were going to see. We were a family of 7 and were very comfortable in the van. He even had waters for us. He was very knowledgeable and was very patient with all our questions we had about the island. I highly recommend booking with Derrick. We had the best time!
