• Nahuku - Thurston Lava Tube - Guests will take a walk through a lava tube, where the guide will explain its formation by lava. This loop, about 600 meters or 0.4 miles long, has low lighting and gradual stairs leading in and out of the tube. While this part of the tour may not be suitable for everyone due to physical fitness, alternatives include staying in the vehicle or exploring the natural surroundings outside. Additionally, guests can bring headlamps for better visibility inside the dimly lit lava tube, allowing them to appreciate intricate cave details and see the formation of tiny stalactites.
