  • Liliuokalani Gardens - Liliuokalani Park, located at the end of Banyan Drive, is a 120,000 square-meter Japanese garden created in 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japanese immigration. This beautifully landscaped park features arching bridges over fishponds, rock gardens, pagodas, Japanese stone lanterns, and a teahouse.
  • Downtown Hilo - Beautiful and vibrant Hilo, initially known for farming and fishing, evolved into a commercial center for the sugar industry in the 1800s. Today, downtown Hilo is a charming, laid-back retro city with centuries-old wooden storefronts, some of the oldest in Hawaii. Hilo boasts many of our nation’s historic landmarks, galleries, museums, shops, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Hilo Farmers Market - The farmer’s market, offering a great sense of locality, is an eye-catching market for tourists as it’s an open market in downtown Hilo featuring Hawaii’s locally grown greens, fruits, flowers, jewelry, and crafts. This is a place where you can also see a variety of Hilo’s specialties.
  • Rainbow Falls - It is the place where rainbows are often seen in the 80-foot high magnificent waterfalls above the lava cave. You can observe the waterfall closely and enjoy a pond and a walk up the stairs to the back of the waterfall, which provides a short hike to the top.
  • Hilo - The tour vehicle will stop at the Waiakea Center Pavilion for lunch. Customers can choose from various menu selections and pay for their lunch.
  • Big Island Candies - Big Island Candies is one of the popular Hawaii local snack businesses and features gourmet Hawaiian chocolates, cookies, and candies, including the world-renowned Macadamia Nut Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies. You will visit its factory and retail outlet in Hilo.
  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Hawaii Volcanoes National Park consists of a vast area of 230,000 acres including Mt. Mauna Loa (4,170 meters) and Mt. Kilauea (1,247 meters). These two active volcanoes are among the world’s most popular tourist attractions. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is deemed to be one of the must-see places in Hawaii. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.

  • Kilauea Overlook - Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on the planet, having erupted in recent years. The world’s largest active volcano creates a stunning view from volcanic eruptions and a rare geological figure. You will enjoy an incredible view of the active volcano.
  • Steam Vents - A steam vent refers to a place where hot smoke is spewing out from a terrain like a cracked or hollow puddle due to volcanic activity. This place will make you feel hot water vapor due to the steam erupting from inside the volcano.
  • Chain of Craters Road - Chain of Craters Road is an elongated pavement of 18.3 miles (31 km) across the eastern rift and coastal area of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Hawaii Island, Hawaii. The drive starts at the fascinating lava zone and continues through a large variety of sights, including a large petroglyph field, and ends where the lava crosses the road into the sea.
  • Pauahi Crater - Pauahi Crater is a volcanic crater and one of the attractions along Chain of Craters Road. This crater has been the site of three eruptions in recent history. The crater floor we see today is covered by a thin veneer of lava from the 1979 event.
