The best way to see the green sand beach - If you want to skip the hike to the green sand beach this is the way to do it. We had so much fun making our way across the vast terrains until we finally reached the coast where we enjoyed amazing ocean views the rest of the way to our destination!! Wear something you’re okay with getting dirty because you will be covered in the gorgeous red dust during your trip. Pack a snack to enjoy at the beach and bring your sense of adventure!

Do it, the best tour of my vacation - I had the dream to vitiate the green sandy beach but the idea of walking so much I did not like, I found this tour q for me was to live two things at once the adventure in ATV and get to the beach, our guide was very friendly and fun, it may be that the price seems a little high but really worth it, we saw turtles, we swam on the beach, we saw a beautiful landscape really felt safe!

The ride to the green sands - Seeing so many vantages, areas that are desert, and green. Just appear. A lot of ocean views to see and then the hike down the volcanic ash to the green and beach. Not as green as I thought. It sparkles from the olivine Anna our guide was very caring and helpful. This is a rough ride on ATV. So not for people in bad health. No healthcare facilities in this area. Google can find it, so make sure your phone is charged. Enjoy!

Amazing Adventure - The ride was exciting but very rough about half the time. We were able to go down the cliff at the beach without issue, of course coming up was a lot more difficult. The scenery was absolutely incredible. We saw a turtle at another location on the way back and wished we could have seen more. Our guide Anna was wonderful and shared a lot of information about the island.

Awesome ATV to Green Sand Beach-Family Favorite - We loved this excursion. We have been wanting to go to the Green Sand Beach for 20 years and finally did it on ATVs, it was a great trip, and well worth the time. This is not for elderly people however they do an afternoon trip that is more leisurely. This is for an active couple or family that enjoy some ATV riding and swimming at uncrowded beaches, there is a little hike down the rocks but its fine for kids and adults. The beach was lovely and the guide, Anne, was knowledgable and informative, we loved her...a real joy. Plan for the drive early in the morning, its quite south on the Island and dont forget to go to Pualua Bakery afterwards. Thank you!!

Olivine Crystals - The trip to Green Sands Beach was amazing. We road on the shoreline a while just before we arrived at the beach. The view was spectacular. We didn’t see turtles at the beach, nor were we able to get in, due to the rough surf, but just seeing the beach and hearing how the crystals are formed was a site we will never forget. The views were breathtaking. A helmet, goggles, a gator and gloves are provided, but expect to get hot and dusty. You will ride 12 miles over dirt and rocky trails, so you will get dirty. If you don’t bring water, the guide will put a water jug in the compartment of your quad. Bring your own snacks and there is a bathroom “level 1” just before you turn down the road to get to the adventure (go then, or you will have to hold it). There is also a sweet bread bakery and pizza to enjoy directly across fro Ace Hardware. We have ridden on several trails from Tennessee to Florida and this was the best guided tour we have ever ridden. Remember….it is an adventure and YOU make it fun!!! This is one of 4 beaches in the entire world.

Best tour guide - The green sand beach was beautiful, the trek down was not too hard. Although we did not see and turtles at this location, our guide Michael took us to another spot to see the turtles. Loved having Michael as a guide!

A description change for this excursion would be very beneficial. It is a beautiful ATV ride into Green Sands Beach. - Pros: -Extremely fun, rugged, ATV ride through beautiful Hawaiian terrain -Very knowledgeable tour guide and fun to be around -Beautiful scenery, saw turtles swimming from afar at one of the stops during the hour ride into green sand beach -Very memorable excursion! Would recommend to experienced ATV riders and those in good physical health Cons: -Upon arriving we were told the beach was not generally safe for swimming or snorkeling and turtles did not frequent that particular beach and especially not in the mornings before the sand heats up. -Also upon arriving was told that closed toe shoes was a necessity and wasn’t allowed to proceed on the excursion without them and that it was listed in the details (I’ve read the TripAdvisor listing 10+ times and still can’t find where that is stated) -Do NOT count on seeing turtles on the beach, much less “sunrise swimming” with them

Green sand beach ATV tour - Poor/inaccurate meeting location directions w no signage. Business contact Vicky not helpful just repetitive of same information. Terrific guide Anna, gorgeous scenery, strenuous ride to green sand beach. Water too rough for snorkeling but stopped to see sea turtles in another secluded location. Overall fun experience.

False advertising at best - Even though it says sunrise swim with turtles, yeah that doesn't happen. We paid $685 to ride ATVs, which is a joke. When you Google them they are "permanently closed." We waiting from 6:40am to 7:40am at the gate which had no signage and was down a shady path. We eventually got someone on the phone after waiting 30+ minutes and they said they'd send someone out, they didn't see us on their calendar even though we clearly booked through Viator. Again we started an hour late, you do not swim with sea turtles at sunrise. It literally doesn't happen. You're rushed when you do eventually get to the beach and you have about 20-30 minutes to get all the way down to the beach, take a photo and leave. We literally only chose this tour so we could swim with sea turtles, so the fact that no snorkel gear or "goggles" was provided, nor did the tour Director even come to the beach with us, was extremely disappointing. I contacted the tour Director and requested a refund and or at minimum partial refund for this disaster of a tour, again not only did we get started an hour late, but we were rushed throughout the whole tour. And she never provided anything. Not even a partial refund, which I thought was being extremely fair given the circumstances. She did offer for us to come back the next day, but we were supposed to fly out the next day besides the fact that we drove over an hour and a 20 minutes to do the tour. We literally left our Airbnb at 5:20 AM to be there by 6:40 AM. Apparently none of that mattered. Extremely disappointed how it was handled. We would've accepted 1/2 of our money refunded and chalked it up as a wash.
