Located on the Hawaii Ocean Science & Technology Park, we access running Deep Ocean Water from 2,200 feet below the ocean surface. Deep Ocean Water is naturally rich in Magnesium and has slight ranges in temperatures around 47 degrees. Cold Water Foot Soaks are refreshing, relaxing, ease pain and swelling and are great for workout recovery. For optimal benefits, briefly dunk your feet in and out of the cold water rather than prolonged exposure. This method maximizes circulation benefits and prevents discomfort.

Cherry on Top - This was the cherry on top!!!
It really brought the entire experience together and helped tie the deep waters and salt production together. Do it! With seven in our group, we had various responses but everyone was pleased with the experience of the foot soak.

Kona Salt Farm Foot Soak - Excellent experience. Could feel the difference after soaking my feet for 20min. The cold takes some getting used to but the benefits are wonderful!

Awesome ! - It was an interesting experience.. so many flavored salts that you can taste ..water is really cold and relaxing.. I can’t dip my feet for to long , I have to take it out then put it back in .. my kids loved .. definitely going to do it again !

Unique Foot Soak Experience - The foot soak was an unexpected pleasure! We soaked our feet for about 25 minutes in the mineral infused water. At first, it took a minute to adapt to the chilly water, but soon we were comfortable. Afterwards we felt very relaxed. We also had a taste test of a variety of their culinary salts. We ended up purchasing their spicy seaweed sea salt, sunset beach bbq salt and Hawaiian chili pepper sea salt. We highly recommend this unique foot soak experience.

Terrific soak - The tour was very informative. Our guide was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. Learned more about salt than just sprinkling on your food.
Foot soak is definitely something I would do again. It takes about 5 minutes of taking your feet in&out of the cold water before you can just relax and enjoy the soak.

Salt farm tour and foot soak - We went on the salt farm tour out of curiosity. The women that guided the tour was very knowledgeable about the working of the farm and the history surrounding the area and the Hawaiian islands . It was fascinating. We opted to do the 20 minute foot soak , using salt water pumped from 2000feet deep in the ocean . What an experience! Water from those depth are between 42-45 degrees. Afterwards sampling if the varies salts on fruit and vegetables was a fun and interesting experience also !

A little more guidance please - The tour was very informative and interesting to hear about the efforts to repair and preserve the lesser known islands and area northwest of the main islands.
The foot soak was refreshingly cold but a little explanation on how to slowly get used to the cold water temperatures would have made it more enjoyable. We only lasted 15 of the 20mins having to take our feet out of the water at regular intervals. Only shortly thereafter did the tour guide explain how to start with your ankles…
