Speed Boat Snorkeling… - Great trip! Enjoyed the speed boat out to Captain Cook Monument as much as the snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay. We spotted a whale on the way out and a baby “honu” turtle on the way back as we visited the sea caves. Even saw a goat from a boat! Good amount of fish and enjoyed the different depths and visibility during our hour snorkeling. Overall a must do trip if you like snorkeling. Captain Chris and mate Jordan were a fun team and made the trip super enjoyable!

Like going out with some friends who have a boat and having a great time! - I always try to steer away from crowds. This is a no frills, exciting and fun experience. Imagine having two surfer friends who have a boat on Hawaii and you go out with them for a few hours and they take you snorkeling near Kona. They know the area and waters well and share some of the local history and culture along with knowing the marine biology of the area well . The boat is a large 20 passenger military grade inflatable. Think of a boat the Navy Seals would use. It’s not a slow leisurely trip as Captain Chris fires up the twin 150’s and you fly across the waves and get to snorkeling in about 25 minutes. You bounce along sitting on each side of the boat holding on tight. This trip probably isn’t for small children or anyone with much of a physical challenge. But for reference I’m in my 60’s, around 270 and had a blast. They visit a nice area for snorkeling and we had about an hour in the ocean. By that time we were done and ready to get back in the boat. Back in the boat Cole served up some fresh pineapple too. On the return trip they showed us some historical places and were knowledgeable about the history. A great trip, very well the cost. Felt very safe and comfortable with these guys. We’ll be back next time we’re on the island!

Good but not great - It wasn’t the best snorkeling we have had but can’t blame the company for how the oceans activity is on a given day. Also they don’t provide flippers and gave us a BS reason why when really it just costs more for them to provide them to customers. The guides were great though. And the boat was fun. With all the stops we made, an extra opportunity to swim would have been way more worth the money spent.

Pretty cool, but not as described - Beautiful ride and knowledgeable guides. The whole trip was 2 hours on the dot from when we left the docks to when we got back, which was kind of disappointing given that we paid for tickets for 2 1/2-3 hours. We did not see any dolphins. We understood that is out of the guides control, so no big deal. However, they were pretty rude to the other family who was on the boat with us when they asked if we would see dolphins. Overall, it was pretty much what we expected, which was great, but the guides seemingly wanting to be doing anything else than what they were doing was off-putting for sure.

My group & I felt as... - My group & I felt as though it was false advertising, this was basically a snorkeling tour and that's how it should've been presented. Very few fish to observe & no dolphins or whales. I wouldn't list Dolphins unless it's a guarantee.
