Great overview of Turkish food through Istanbul’s liveliest streets - The tour was recommended to me by an old friend who did it two years ago and I’m
I’m glad they did! Our guide led us through a delicious trail of tasty morsels on both sides of the Bosphorus via a quick ferry trip. I will be recommending it to anyone coming to Istanbul!

Without reservation. - A big thank you to our food tour leader Cumali- he was informative, fun and kept the ball rolling. We can honestly say we would recommend this tour without reservation. Lots of variety in the food- 9 stops for food and drink but we didn’t feel full. A great way to discover some of the less touristy parts of Istanbul.

A Must Do In Istanbul! - We had an amazing tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. I did another food tour which was okay, this one blew it out of the water. The kebob was like nothing else I had in Istanbul and the fish and lamb sandwiches were also very good. Wonderful walk around the Asia side of Istanbul with a stop for pistachio coffee. If you are Istanbul this is a must do tour.

Unique Food Tour in Istanbul - I had a wonderful experience with great food and a great tour guide, Salih. Our tour group was small and therefore very personal. The tour was both culturally and historically interesting and walking from place to place was refreshing after delicious and filling food. Overall it was a lovely experience and my first time in Asia !

Authentic. Engaging. Delicious. Fun! - Authentic. Engaging. Delicious. Fun! Salih has an extensive, diverse and detailed knowledge of Turkish Culture, Cuisine, and History. We were entertained, educated, and enjoyed a variety of Turkish food and drink in both the Asian and European side of Istanbul. This was a walking several-course meal beginning with stops in the local market to prepare our appetites. The tour continued in a variety of small restaurants, an outdoor food stand, followed by a break for Turkish or Pistachio Coffee or Tea, a return Ferry to Europe to enjoy Balik Dürüm and then finish with one of the most amazing dessert meals I have ever eaten! I personally enjoyed every stop. In the market, with Salih’s expertise, we confidently purchased Kaymak, honey, local cheeses, Olives, Pastrami, and Bread to make our own traditional Turkish breakfast the next morning. My favorite foods of the evening were: Lahmacun, Adana Kebab, Balik Dürüm (Fish Wrap) and the Künefe for Dessert. At each stop the proprietor and staff were ready for us with reserved and prepared tables. Another bonus on this tour was that as we rode the ferry over to the Asian side and then back again, Salih gave us a very interesting and informative guide of the geography,
history, and various points of interest we could see from the boat. This tour is an ideal way to experience the history, culture and of course the cuisine of Istanbul and greater Turkey. I would do it again!
