One of the best day trips I’ve ever been on! - Jose is truly fantastic - informative, friendly, creative and kind. My whole family had a fantastic day with him.

Can’t imagine a better excursion or guide! - This was the most personable and best cultural experience we could hope for with less than a day to explore. The hike to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe was challenging yet an unforgettable lifetime experience. Exploring Burmeo and Guernica following the hike provided rich history lessons and opportunity to sample food and meet locals. Jose was an outstanding curator, balancing limited time with an extraordinary experience. Don’t hesitate to book if you are searching for a cruise excursion. You will not be disappointed! A Wonderful tour provided by a very knowledgeable and pleasant guide Jose Luis - Our tour Enjoy the coast of Bissau was wonderful. Our guide Jose Luis, the owner of Bizkaia Maite Tours was not only very knowledgeable about his region, but also very organized and well prepared. He spent with us as much time as we needed. A wonderful way to spend the day, viewing the coast. - I wanted to see San Juan de Gazyelugatxe, but knew I wouldn't be able to walk all the stairs. Jose knew a good path, with a great view. We went into a few other charming coastal towns and ended the tour in Guernica. A lot of people think because Guernica was bombed there is nothing to see, but there are several historical buildings and so much history. Jose was a great guide.

A special day in the Basque country - This tour with José was simply the best! All the other reviews more than reflected our experience. José was delightful, enthusiastic, thoughtful and his knowledge of this region was exemplary. We came away having not only visited the most beautiful places, Gaztelugatxe, Bermeo, Mundaka, but also Guernica, which only left us wanting to learn more about the Basque Country and culture in future. If you’ve only time for one guided trip… book this one! - We had a great time with Jose our guide for the day. Be aware that it’s a long day with some serious walking involved but if you’re reasonably fit it’s well worth it & good value. Would highly recommend.
