Great introduction to different neighbourhoods and cultures of Berlin - Having already done the discover Berlin half day tour, the off the beaten track tour was a great addition. The tour introduced us to arts and culture neighborhoods and sub cultures we would not otherwise have known. Our guide Rhys was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic.

For good walkers and good listeners - For good walkers and good listeners. This tour took us into neighborhoods into which we would never have ventured. It is a lot of walking. Schedule it toward the end of your Berlin visit. Our guide was a native English’ speaker. That was valuable for us. No kids.

Highly recommend this tour ! - Jake was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide! I was thrilled to discover Berlin through the lesser known stories of lived experiences of the locals. Jake also made superb recommendations for nearby events, restaurants, etc.

A different side to Berlin - Really interesting tour. We have been to Berlin before and have seen all the typical sights, so this tour was perfect to see the lesser known places, learn some history you may not necessarily learn from your regular guide books. Our guide Rhys was entertaining, knowledgeable and led the tour at the right pace, it never felt rushed nor did we stay in any place for too long (on some tours lots of time is wasted on lunch or coffee breaks which is unnecessary, we had a 30 minute lunch stop, perfect for curry wurst and a quick sit down). Loved all the street art and background stories. Would definitely recommend this tour for something different than the standard tourist sights.

Interesting and amusing. - I highly recommend this walking tour. A lot of interesting facts, stories and places you might miss otherwise. It's not your typical tour of a city and our guide Rhys was competent and amusing. Thumbs up.

Exciting and different trip - Good guide with a clear and understandable English (he was English). He seemed himself interested and had a great knowledge of what he was telling and came with several additional details and additions. He made it interesting to hear about. I missed, however, that he continuously just checked up on whether everyone was with when he walked out there and possibly slowed down for a moment. He should be aware that everyone was there before he started telling. It was especially the last part of the trip where he got busy. I didn't need a lunch break that early. Otherwise a good, exciting and educational tour, with a good guide, which can be recommended.

I learned so much about Berlin's counter culture. - Make sure you book a day that is warm. It was freezing and the very long outdoor tour was very uncomfortable.
