Authentic and very detailed..,We were an adult group ,, with school classes it might not work out so well... - The dungeon convinced me completely.. The individual areas including the court , the butcher , the dungeon etc. were very well played...respect to the actors.. Definitely recommended when visiting Berlin..

Great fun and scary place to go loved it - What an excellent experience! My mum picked this as she loves horror films. I thought it would be like Madame Tussauds but no it's way better than that. Actors play different parts of history using the visitors in the stories. It's funny and scary at the same time. The shop sells both great and usual things that are great. Not going to spoil their stories here but keep your eyes open until the end.lol!

I would definitely recommend visiting the Berlin Dungeon, but I would (unfortunately) omit the photo.... - We came to Berlin from Hamburg for a visit to the dungeon. In fact, as hamburgers, we knew what to expect in the rough, of course, and we were not disappointed. Attention to detail, skillful use of light and acting have made each station exciting and sometimes creepy. It was a pity that the announced raft trip apparently no longer exists or was omitted, and that in the photo there are only photos that then had effects superimposed by the computer, I would also have liked the photo simply "naturally". But now cheaper than before, when a photo was taken of everyone, and you just paid "real money" for it (although I can only say this for Hamburg, in Berlin we were for the first time).

We had a lot of fun – unfortunately some disappointments with the birthday package - We had a very nice visit overall – the actors were great and we had a lot of fun during the show. Actually, we would like to award five stars. Unfortunately, however, there were two points that disappointed us very much and should not happen especially for a booked birthday experience.
We booked a birthday package online for our daughter, who had her birthday that day – including an ENGLISH-language performance at 3:40 p.m., as she speaks mainly English. Unfortunately, the show was then completely in German, so she could hardly understand anything and was accordingly disappointed.
In addition, the description promised that the birthday child would receive a red loan cape for a special appearance – but there was no such thing. Instead, she got a simple paper crown with “Happy Birthday” print at the entrance, which she happily put on. At the end of the show, however, we were told that she had to hand over the crown again – which we honestly found very inappropriate precisely because it was a worthless piece of cardboard, but symbolically important for our daughter on the day. Except for the Happy-BD crown and drinks, there was no difference to all other guests in terms of surprises.
The drinks at the exit were nice, but that didn't quite make up for the disappointment because of the language and the crown. When asked about the language of the show, a member of staff said she would pass it on – we hope that will actually happen.
Despite everything: The show itself was great, and we plan to come back in the summer – hopefully to an English performance that is really in English.

Disappointing dungeon - Bit disappointed with this dungeon experience. I have been to other dungeons before and really enjoyed those. However, I felt the Berlin Dungeon was very generic and the quality of the actors was not quite as good as other places I have been to.

Not disappointed but not wowed - Good fun but not quite what we expected. Actor's were excellent and interacted with everyone. Rooms differed in quality and narrative. Not disappointed but not wowed.
