Lee was out tour guide... - Lee was out tour guide and did a wonderful job taking us to unexpected places for a variety of tastings. We had tons of questions on the history and vibe of the city that were answered knowledgeably. Come hungry!

Great food, great guide, great for teens - My fifteen year old daughter and I did the East Meets West tour and had a fantastic time. Our guide, Tiago, was outstanding--very personable and full of interesting details both about the food and the neighborhoods. The tour was a great way to go beyond the more touristy parts of Berlin and to get a sense of the ways that the city has grown in recent years. We were in Berlin for a week, and my daughter called the food tour one of her favorite parts of the trip!

- We enjoyed our food tour with Simon! Our family of 5 were the only participants, so we really were able to get a lot out of the experience. A highlight was visiting the East Side Gallery, too. Simon did a great job of ensuring there were vegetarian options available for me. One of our favorite stops was the Turkish desserts and coffee at the last stop. Overall, I'd recommend this tour to see some Berlin neighborhoods you might otherwise miss and to try foods away from the tourist centers.

A fun tour - Learned so much about Berlin and these neighborhoods! Delicious food - and a lot of it. Elena was knowledgeable, engaging and an all around delight.

What a wonderful tour and delightful tour guide! - Elena clearly loves showing her guests the city she loves. The tour was about much more than food: art, Berlin and cold war history, and pop culture. (For example: Why are the trams only in the former Eastast? Now I know. Where did David Bowie hang out when he lived in Berlin? A few doors down from where we had a Turkish dessert.) But the food was fantastic as well! We enjoyed schnitzel and then headed off to sample multiple Ukrainian dishes at one restaurant and multiple Turkish dishes at another, then a Turkish dessert in the neighborhoods of Neukölln and Kreuzberg.

Would highly recommend - great family activity, especially if you want something for teenagers too. - Fantastic 4 hour tour with Tiago today. We saw lots of places and ate in places we just would have never found. Tiago was very knowledgeable and it was great to do a tour with our teenagers that they found interesting. Loads of food and great to take our doughnuts away with us. Thank you Tiago.

Good food, bad information - I really liked the varied restaurants and also the amount of food offered. After the five-hour tour, all participants were really fed up. On the positive side, the guide sometimes asked us what we had more appetite for and so we could choose the food/drinks ourselves. What was annoying, however, was that the guide told quite a few false things in his stories about Berlin. That shouldn't happen, even if it was primarily a food tour. The guide took a picture of the group with his mobile phone and promised to send this to all participants. Unfortunately, the photo never arrived. Hence no maximum rating.
