Far from the madding crowd. - Super leisurely cycle around the less touristy bits of the city. Very interesting to get away from the well trodden areas and experience real Berlin off the beaten track. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Not even the heavens opening spoilt what was a great 3 hours cycling. Throughly recommend.

Lots of stops in Kreuzberg with a variety of subject matter - The commentary was full and frank. Lots of questions were asked and our guide knew the answer to them all. We stopped to explore one area of the tour but I didn't think it necessary.

Wonderful, memorable, fun tour - We had an excellent tour with Theo on 15 June 2025. Having already done some mainstream museums, historical tours, and miles of walking, we wanted to bike and to see less touristy things off the beaten path. This alternative Berlin tour was perfect! Theo is a super-knowledgeable, dynamic guide with an incredible command of English. The tour is fascinating and fun, and we felt thankful to see so much of "alternative" Berlin. We loved our tourmates as well! We enthusiastically recommend touring with Free Berlin and Theo!!

History outside of the Core! - I was looking for Berlin's famous counterculture. This was a glance at how much and how fast Berlin is changing. Ricco was passionate, knowledgeable and fun.

A great alternative to the well trodden sites - Really interesting guided cycling tour taking in the less touristy areas. Great guide with loads of information on how Berlin has developed and is continuing to develop particularly from a social history perspective.

With fewer participants Topp - Overall we were very satisfied, the bikes were relatively new and ran really well. Our tour guide Karo was top and brought the tour over interesting and entertaining. Unfortunately, the group with 16 participants was too big, because of course you could not create a traffic light phase together, so the group constantly tore apart. That is the decisive reason to complain! Otherwise it was very nice.
