Cycling and enjoyment - We had a very nice and interesting bike ride with Boukje. You don’t get to see the tourist highlights, but instead you get a lot of story about East and West Berlin. You enter neighborhoods where real Berlin life takes place.

Anna Banana took us on a great tour - Take this tour if you'd like to see the funkier parts of Berlin. Our tour guide, Anna, was incredible. She knew the history, areas and vibe because she lived it and was/is part of the community. She's incredibly effervescent and a real joy to be with. She related incredibly well to the tour group and my 11 year old son. You will see the cultural highlights of both the DDR and current Germany. You'll see such places as RAW and bike down Karl Marx Allee and see all of the mid-century architecture. Overall it was fascinating to see thriving artist activities in a city know for its creativity and openness. In case you can't tell, I highly recommend this tour. Please note that the traffic (both auto and bike) can be a bit harrowing, especially for a younger kid, but Anna does a great job.

Great tour with kids! - A great time! I went with three of my kids (ages 11 and 14), and they loved it, too. 1) The streets are busy and the local Berlin cyclists are pretty serious, so regardless your age, you'd be happiest on this tour if you are a confident biker in a hectic urban environment. 2) We covered about 20km with our guide, Oli, and learned so much about history, neighborhoods, and current-day Berlin. We never would have seen half of these sites without this tour--it's a great way to spend a few hours! 3) We took a 3pm tour, were delayed along the way by a rainstorm, and made it back to the starting point more than an hour late. The weather was great and so was our tour, so we didn't mind at all. Just a head's up not to schedule something directly after this in case your tour runs late!

Fantastic - We made this trip as a couple Patricia, our enthusiastic guide showed us a lot of Berlin. She could tell a lot about the history of Berlin, both the present and the past. One of the interesting sights during this tour are the many parks we cycled through. Parks that are well used by the Berliners. Both by families and partygoers, culture was not forgotten either. To do this trip it takes experience in terms of cycling, your bike right through the city. Mainly the route is flat, although there is one climb in it. But it is also very beautiful with a view over the city, you are then on the spot where the anti-aircraft guns stood in the 2nd world war. We also saw the former 'communist' elite district, and she also showed us the flats where the citizens lived in East Berlin. Difference was large. Among other things, the listening devices in the elite neighborhood that was found, and the size of the houses. In short, worth it, who wants to know Berlin from a different point of view than the Brandenburg Gate and checkpoint Charly.
