Highlights
- Bergen - We depart from Bergen city center, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mount Flöyen and Mount Ulriken.
- Nordhordland Bridge - We are passing under this large floating bridge on our way to the fjords
- Osterfjorden - You get to the Osterfjord after 1 hour cruise. We pass under the Nordhordland Bridge, the world’s seventh longest pontoon bridge, and continue up the 27-km long Osterfjord. Watch the landscape change from the low-lying coastal landscape of the coast to the deep fjords innermost in the Osterfjord, surrounded by majestic mountains.
- Mostraumen - Bergen - Nice waterfalls, narrow fjords, nice restaurant for lunch.
Possibility for waterfall shower. Great spectacular nature with high mountains and waterfals.
- Mo - Up in the end of the fjord we can stop for a swim in the fjord, maybe under the waterfall? Bring your swimsuit, we have towels and warm shower onboard.
We can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local cafe and explore the village on your own. No other tours stop in Mo, so this is a great opportunity.
Enjoy the quietness and nice nature during this full day cruise. As your host we will do our utmost to give you a memorable experience!

Private cruise to Modalen, an experience of Fjords and waterfalls, starting just outside your hotel in Bergen.
We depart Bergen, watching city from the seaside with the backdrop of the surrounding mountains, including Fløyen and Ulriken. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee while we slowly cruise the fjords from Bergen, the scenery and atmosphere shifts from busy city life, to a quiet and pristine landscape. We get to the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls. If its raining doesnt matter, rain makes the waterfalls more dramatic.
In the fjord we call upon a waterfall down to the fjord and boat, where you can have a waterfall-shower, or taste the clean water. We can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you in the summer can have lunch at the local cafèteria- and explore the village on your own.
We can also arrange lunch onboard, we recommend shellfish buffet.
The evening cruise (6PM) will be slightly faster, back around 11.

Highlight of our trip! - We had such a wonderful day seeing the fjord. We passed by little towns and so many waterfalls. We even saw a flock of swans. The boat was well stocked with lots of drinks and snacks, and we were able to have a late lunch in Mo. The captain was very kind and willing to chat about Norway or leave us to our own devices. It was a perfect day to recover from travel. I would definitely recommend booking.

Truly Awesome!!! - This was the most enjoyable tour our family of six has ever taken!! Captain Svein was the best. He took us on a tour of the fjord that was spectacular even though we had cloudy weather. He went at a very nice pace so that we could see all that we wanted. Boat was fully stocked with snacks, beer/wine, etc. They called ahead to the cafe we stopped at and the cafe had a table set up for us and it was the best lunch. He took us under a waterfall and we went for a quick swim (cold but worth it!). We were not rushed to do anything at any time which was so enjoyable. We just sat and enjoyed the whole experience. This was the highlight of our trip to Norway and would totally do it again!!

Amazing experience - This experience was a splurge for us, and worth every penny. The captain was accommodating every step of the way, and a truly great captain and tour guide. The boat was amazing, very clean and neat, and was stocked with treats. We were able to go to a small town at the top of the fjord and enjoyed a wonderful seafood meal on the boat. It was a magical experience being the only boat in Mo; This day was the highlight of our trip to Norway and would highly recommend!

Winter wonderland cruise - We did the cruise in January, when it was real winter in Bergen, snow in the city and ice on the fjord.
The boat was great, with heated salon, but we still sat upstairs in the winter weather, quite cold, but refreshing, with wool blankets and hot tea and coffee. We went indoor from time to time to get some heat, but the view from top was amazing, so we mostly enjoyed the cruise from there.
The fjord was frozen and covered with ice when we got close to the inner end, due to less salt, and mostly fresh water. So we didn`t get all the way inn, but an amazing experience with the winter wonderland of the Norwegian fjords.
We enjoyed pre-ordered lunch with various shellfish, and wine onboard the yacht in between the icebergs.

Fantastic winter-cruise - Fantastic winter-cruise to a fjord covered in winter colors and ice.
Since we did the cruise in January it was cold in Bergen, but the yacht was warm inside anyway. We had a great time onboard, with a lovely and caring captain.
Since it was so cold the fjord was frozen when we got close to the end, but that was amazing, a great experience for the whole family. We got the offer to go ice bathing, but no thanks, too cold for us....
A lovely cruise, reccomended both summer as winter.

Fabulous day on the water! - Had the most special day celebrating my Husbands birthday on this beautiful private yacht. The day was cool but sunny as we enjoyed the sailing to Modal. Quaint little town with beautiful waterfalls surrounding the area.
Iselin helped coordinate all the catered and even picked up all food that I wanted. She even suggested the best bakery for a bday cake.
Our captain Karsten was wonderful and very kind, helpful and full of informative information about the area. The yacht was kept in perfect condition, very clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our day memorable.

Go for it - Great daytrip on the fjords.
We came to Norway to explore fjords, and went to most of them: Hardanger fjord, Sognefjord, Geiranger. However this private cruise was an excellent choice, and worth the price. It`s great to have the boat for yourself for a day, and you can do as you like. We asked for a specific start time, and were also back in the city correspinging to our dinner reservation for the evening.
We had ordered lunch from a restaurant to be brought onboard as well, and enjoyed lobster with excellent wine under some waterfalls and great mountains.
All great, we loved it.

You have to do it!! - We had this cruise in June, and we absolutely loved it!! Started just a few steps from the hotelk in Bergen, and welcomed by a smiling captain on a great boat.
We had the boat available the whole day, and cruised up the fjords untill lunchtime, where we had booked a seafood buffet to enjoy on the boat. Having this buffet with fresh seafood up in the fjords was a great experience, which will never be forgotten. Wine was included in the cruise, from start to end.
Great nature around us, with mountains and waterfalls, lovely boat, exceptional service, and a highlight of our Europe-vacation. We absolutely reccommend it.

Personal yacht on the Fjords of Norway - I cannot describe how special our day was. The yacht felt safe and was comfortable. Our Captain made us feel at home from the moment we stepped aboard and was attendant to our every need. As a family this was an unforgettable day and we recommend anyone to do this.
