• Dr. Wiesener - Continuing north, the tour passes Dr. Wiesener’s, once Bergen’s public bathhouse and now a pub. This site, along with the hiking trail, played a crucial role in local health and hygiene from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
• Sandviksveien - Welcome to Sandviken! This is one of Bergen’s best-preserved neighborhoods, originally founded by fishermen and merchants centuries ago. It became part of Bergen in the late 19th century. Having remained separate from Bergen, Sandviken avoided city fires and is now one of the city’s most well-preserved areas. Visitors will explore the neighborhood, discovering the historic fishermen’s homes and warehouses.
• Fjellveien - It’s time for a hike! From Sandviken, the tour ascends to the “Fjellveien” trail, a favorite among locals but lesser-known to tourists. Established in the late 19th century to boost local health, the trail features manor houses, historic gardens, the first waterworks, and breathtaking city views.
