Zachariasbryggen - See the stunning sights the Fjord has to offer on one of the most popular tours is our trip down the narrow Mostraumen. This scenic tour from the centre of Bergen allows you to witness some memorable scenes of western Norway’s Hordaland province to tiny Modalen, along the famous fjord. The tour gives amazing panoramic views of Bergen as you depart the wharf on the way to the fjord.
Hardangerfjord - This trip includes many beautiful waterfalls and narrow fjords whilst enjoying the picturesque mountains. If your tour is at peak flow you can feel the thrill of a refreshing spray.

The captain will try and get close to the waterfall to capture a large bucket of fresh ice cold mountain water, which you can taste. It is hard to beat the stunning views this tour has to offer, as well as seeing an abundance of wildlife in the area, including seals, goats and eagles!

Book early to avoid disappointment. Please not this tour meets in the centre of Bergen around a 10 minute taxi which is not included in this price if you are on a cruise. Hotel guests can meet at the cruise departure point easily.

Our modern, comfortable boats have sundecks and kiosks offering refreshments, including beer and wine.

Wonderful introduction to the Norwegian fjords - Wonderful trip, highly recommended. The boat was fabulous… Smooth and fast, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views are amazing, you get a real sense of the magnificence of the fjords.

Boat ride up the Fjord - Excellent scenery good boat really good trip. If there was one downside it was the distance to get to your destination then about ten minutes looking at the scenery then the long fast journey back to Bergen

Must Do in Bergen - The fjord tour was spectacular. The boat was safe, we had great seats, and it was fun to be able to go outside both up and downstairs to see the landscape. The boat captain gave just the right amount of information. The sights were beautiful, especially as we went further and further away from Bergen. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars and a must do if you visit Bergen.

Great fjord views but awful boarding process - I booked directly through Rodne and it was much cheaper I believe (about $84 USD per person). It was a great intro to the fjords and everything once on the boat was great. However, the crowd waiting to get on the boat was maybe my worst experience of my whole trip in Norway… there are no lines to help people queue so everyone jammed together in a packed mob waiting to get on (and for the people from the earlier boat to get off). It was truly awful, packed and unable to move or breathe really even though there was plenty of space on the dock!! Just some simple queue lines or a single staff member keeping people in order would have made it so much better. Worst of everyone’s instincts came out- pushing and cutting in front of people, plus so many different languages of tourists so no one was very considerate of each other. When the Rodne operators did finally start letting people on the boat she did say “everyone will get on” but that was the extent of them trying to maintain any order. Once on the boat, ironically it was not even that full. If the onboarding process had been better this would have been a 10/10 experience.

Morning trip in Bergen - We were only in Bergen a few days! We booked this trip on a beautiful sunny day. It was a very scenic trip. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was that the English commentary was very short ( a bit at the beginning, middle and end) it would have been nice to know more about the villages we pasted and facts/ history about them. Besides that It was a pleasant morning outing. Bring a packed lunch as they only have tea/ coffee and pastries on board. Recommend to sit inside at front of boat as you get a ch as nice to go out on deck a few times and be right up close to fjords!

Weekend tour - Nice ride in the morning, only the weather could better then it would have been extra nice. But Bergen they deliver anyway! Had a great weekend trip.

There are alternatives - Though the trip itself is entertaining, there's another that offers similar views. For example, if you're planning to go to Oslo eventually. There's a fjord cruise from Gudvängen to Flåm that's shorter and with less people.
