We will walk a few meters towards the two main markets of the city: the winter and summer fish markets. There, in the heart of Bergen, we will stop at one of its most authentic street stalls. We will taste some seafood snacks and a wide variety of smoked foods. What a good start!
Next, we’ll head to Bryggen, the merchants’ quarter back in the year 1360. What better place to learn all about Bergen? Here we will walk among its colorful wooden houses and you will understand why it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
We will continue towards the Bergerhus fortress, a historical complex that was the home of one of the kings when Bergen was the capital of Norway. Did you know? We will tell you endless curiosities!
