Amazing experience ! - The hike at the top of this volcano was quite easy and the view was incredible. You have like 3 spot, depending on you level and difficulty you want to get. Our guide Engy was really nice and give us many information on the jungle and volcano. We can see the volcanic fireplace frôle close and also try the hot springs after the walk witch was so good for our muscles. Thanks again to berastagi adventure teams, I highly recommend people who travel around to contact them for living this beautiful experience.

Sunrise hike Mount Sibyak - We had a brilliant day with Jamelle our guide hiking Sibyak at sunrise ! Jamelle was kind , funny , informative and looked after us so well !! The driver was great and really calm ! His driving felt really safe !!! The organisation was brilliant with great communication ! All round really good day and great value for money. !

Amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience to hike an active volcano for sunrise - What an incredible trip! Hiking an active volcano to watch the sunrise, seeing the geysers blowing steam and smelling the sulfur - it was all amazing! Felt like we were on a different planet. Hendra and our tour guides were great and made sure we were all having fun and staying safe. Would 100% recommend this to anyone going to Medan!!! The only thing I would say is that the Piso Piso waterfall adds a lot of driving to the trip. We would recommend asking the driver to take you to a different waterfall which is on the way back to Medan. Then you will be back in Medan by 4pm rather than 6pm. Overall, amazing and super grateful to Hendra and his team!

Best experience ever!!!! - It was such an incredible experience! The guide’s main goal was to make sure that we were safe, happy and healthy. He had so much knowledge and passion of the area that allowed for such a safe and welcoming environment. I would highly recommend the tour. Really easy and flexible/patient/prompt transportation and once in a lifetime views. The local knowledge of good places to eat and see was also very on point. Thank you Bang Anjil and Hendra 🤎🤎

Beautiful volcanic hike - This tour was amazing! They were able to accommodate a larger group in a van after we contacted them directly. The guides were incredibly friendly, safe, and knowledgeable and knew a great spot to stop and watch the sunrise. The timing worked really well and the drive was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to anybody staying in Medan.

Worth waking up at 1.30am - We would highly recommend this tour, especially to those who enjoy hiking and nature. The views were amazing, the hike itself was not too hard but still a nice challenge. Our guide Hendra had excellent knowledge and stories that he shared with us. When walking he set a good pace, and we felt very safe with him. He was flexible with the itinerary. We also have dietary requirements and he was very understanding and helpful in finding a great place for lunch. Our driver was on time, and very lovely. The hot springs were great and very clean.

Amazing - This was my favourite experience of my Sumatra holiday! Hendra was an excellent knowledgeable guide and also a lot of fun! The views up top were beautiful and even more beautiful was the fresh brewed coffee! An absolute must do experience 🙌🏼 Hendra was fabulous to deal with and helped also to arrange transport for me to samosir island and back to Medan. Riski my driver was safe and professional. Amazing sunrise hike to Sikayak - We had an absolutely amazing experience hiking up Mount Sibayak for sunrise. The views were incredible and the volcanic vents were really cool to see (but very smelly with sulphur!). Our guide Jamil was super knowledgable, sharing facts about the local area and tailoring the trekking route to suit us (you can choose from three peaks of varying difficulty). He also made us a coffee to enjoy as we watched the sun come up. We then visited a local family-run hot springs, followed by the fruit market and a delicious brunch in a coffee shop in Berastagi. Jamil knew I loved plants so showed me lots of interesting local flowers and trees around Sibayak and plants sold at the market in Berastagi. We didn’t have time to visit Supiso Piso waterfall as we had to rush back to Medan for a flight, but it’s usually part of the itinerary. Our driver Rizki was brilliant too and dropped us off at the airport. We’d really recommend booking directly with the team at Berastagi Adventure via their website - Hendra was really helpful and communicative via WhatsApp.

Great time in Berastagi - Rizki was an excellent driver and guide to local eats in Berastagi. He knows the ins and outs of the area and is fun to chat with. Paulo was a great guide up the mountain and very knowledgeable about local traditions. Highly recommended duo!

Wonderful trip up to Mount Sibayak - I enjoyed my hiking trip up to Mount Sibayak in Medan and the view was wonderfully awesome 🤩 and the environment was peacefully serene. Both the driver Rizki and guide Anggi took good care of me, and I was able to take beautiful photos of trip. Thank you very much for the great and memorable experience.
