- National Iconographic Museum Onufri - The tour progresses with a visit to the “Onufri” Iconographic Museum located in the Cathedral of Shën Mëria. Here, you’ll discover a collection of over 100 icons, including masterpieces by the renowned 16th-century iconographer Onufri and his son, Nikolla. (Museum entry is at your own expense)

Excellent tour - highly recommend! - Excellent tour - highly recommend! Orlanda was a great tour guide from start to finish! Berat is a beautiful city with a lot of history - must visit if in Tirana!

Excellent tour - Orlanda was a brilliant guide, she clearly knows a lot about her country. The tour was very interesting and very relaxed, even more so as we were driven to various spots and just sat back and took in all the views. The castle was amazing and the views took my breath away. The wine tasting was great, 3 wines and raki but the food was the star of the show. An amazing spread was laid before us in a beautiful setting. Ensure your details are up to date in the viator website. I hadn’t realised it was booked via this third party, I thought I’d booked directly with TA. Overall an excellent day out. One thing I might suggest is to have music that all guests can enjoy. At times it was rather loud and a bit too modern for our taste

An unforgettable day trip to Belshi Lake, Berat and wine tasting - Our day tour to Belshi Lake, Berat and wine tasting was a real treat! Although there were only three of us, the tour went ahead as planned – a huge compliment to the team for the flexibility. The weather was fantastic: bright blue skies and sunshine accompanied us all day.
On time we were picked up in the morning and started the tour with a cozy cappuccino at the picturesque Belshi Lake. The setting was just beautiful and made us relax immediately. Afterwards we continued to the impressive castle of Berat. Our guide gave us many exciting insights into the history and significance of this place – an absolute highlight for those interested in culture and history.
After the tour followed the wine tasting (15 Eur p.P.), which was one of the highlights of the day for all of us. We tasted three excellent wines – a white wine, a rosé and a red wine – all of exceptional quality. The wine tasting was accompanied by a delicious antipasti plate (15 Eur p.P.). For meat lovers there was also chicken or goat (plus 3 Eur). Everything was freshly prepared, rich and tasteful. At the end of the tasting there was a special surprise: We were allowed to try two varieties of raki – a classic light raki and a darker one that stood out for its fruity note. Both were a great experience for the senses.
After the tasting we went to Berat, where we could explore the narrow, charming streets of the old town. The historic atmosphere with the typical stone houses was simply magical and rounded off the cultural part of the tour perfectly.
Despite rush hour, we were back in Tirana on time in the evening. The tour was excellently organized and offered a perfect mix of nature, culture and cuisine – highly recommended!

A great day trip out of the city - Great trip to see Berat. Orlanda, our tour guide, was fantastic and managed the time beautifully. The architecture was great and the food was good. There's a quick stop at Belshi lake to get coffee or something and walk around, but the bulk of the time is spent in Berat. A nice day trip if you're in Tirana.

simply a SHOW. - The excursion was exceptional, Orlanda a charm of a girl, explained all the details at all times, even tried hard to do it also in Spanish.
Berat is a spectacular city, highly recommended to see.
Then Orlanda took us to eat at ALPETA and we ate LUXURY !!.

An absolutely amazing... - An absolutely amazing experience! The sites, the guides knowledge and everything were great! I especially like that the tour was a smaller group. I’ve been to Berat castle tour before, but this experience was even better.! Also the winery was top-notch and highly recommend going!

A great value tour with a really insightful guide - A great value tour with a brilliant, insightful guide called Eno who shared lots of information throughout the day. The highlight was Berat Castle which was quite amazing. The lunch (additional cost) was good but not great. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great views and tasty wine and food - Orlanda was an excellent guide and driver. There were 7 people on the tour, so it allowed for more interactions. Orlanda had everyone introduce themselves so we could get to know each other since we were going to spend the day together and drive around in the van. I think the method made the trip better since we all started chatting and sharing experiences (van full of introverts). One person had a birthday so we all celebrated together. Orlanda gave a wonder guide through the Berat castle, and our lunch at the winery. She explained local traditions and answered all of our questions. She was an excellent driver and allowed us all to enjoy our day stress free. Highly recommend the tour, lunch and the wine tasting. Lunch was family style and flavorful. Wine tasting included 3 wines, a white, rose, and red. Lunch and wine was less than $30/person.

Great Day out of the City - This was a last minute booking on my part and I'm so pleased I did. A wonderful trip out into the Albanian countryside. It was lovely to see the amazing scenery and visit Berat - more great scenery and history.
Lunch was at a nearby vineyard. Delicious fresh food, locally produced and accompanied by three very nice wines, and raki (of course).
Our guide, Eno, was friendly and very informative, making it all a great experience and excellent value for money.
