Caye Caulker casual and chill snorkeling - perfect - TL;DR if you're looking for a laid-back, but still safe and educational, snorkeling tour...this is the one for you! SO great and worth every penny. This snorkeling tour was one of the best ones I've ever been on! Much like everything on Caye Caulker, the experience was relaxed, chill, and our guides Captain Philip and Rahim (sp? sorry) were WONDERFUL. With Philip and Rahim's humor, knowledge, and care, we all felt safe during the entire tour and learned a lot about the area and the marine life. The value of this tour cannot be overstated. We snorkeled at one spot to start to make sure our equipment worked and we were comfortable with the water before moving onto Hol Chan. The reserve was beautiful and not too crowded with other tour groups (granted, we visited during the slow season) and Philip and Rahim were excellent guides as we snorkeled through the reserve. We THEN moved on to another location looking for Mary Jane the sea turtle in the conch graveyard. And then had lunch back in the boat, which was local and delicious. AND THEN moved on to Shark Ray Alley to swim the the nurse sharks. AND THEN made our way back to the far side of Caye Caulker to observe seahorses in the man-made protected habitat. AND THEN made a brief stop at the tarpon feeding grounds to get "high fives" from the tarpon, which was absolutely so much fun. Departing and returning to the launch point on Caye Caulker was a breeze. There was very little waiting around, which is always appreciated. Philip and Rahim were so much fun and knowledgeable about the sights on the tour, and we particularly appreciated the number of times they made a point to say that the tour was an eco-tour--no feeding the fish to attract their attention, no dumping or leaving anything behind, how important the marine life and reefs are, etc....

Could not have had a better experience! - Captain Loki and Captain Antonio were not only very knowledgeable but amazingly accommodating and very entertaining. The entire experience was awesome!

do it! - Did this tour and had a great time! Phillip and Martin were extremely welcoming and attentive to all guests. They made sure I felt included as a solo traveler and offered personalized suggestions to guests for activities after the tour. We saw an amazing variety of marine life it was truly incredible! 10/10 recommend

10/10 - Was worried we wouldn't make it but we did. I will say they didn't answer or respond to our inquiry day of because we were worried about missing the boat. But they accommodated us and the excursion was absolutely amazing. They took good care of my son and I and it was very informative. Loved everything about this trip!

Incredible experience and awesome guides - Our guides Renn and Josh were brilliant. We had an awesome 6+hrs day out with 7 stops that included guided snorkelling. The reef was incredible with so much life and colour. We swam with manatee, turtle, nurse sharks, sting rays. The guides were brilliant - super knowledgeable, engaging, chilled and fun. Lunch was delicious and we were really well looked after (offered water & rum punch every 5 mins!!). Thank you Salt Life!

Spectacular experience snorkeling the Belize Barrier Reef - 10/10 - Salt life knows what they’re doing and provides a one of a kind experience. If you’re on the fence about booking this tour - don’t be. Captain Phillip and Sir Charles were outstanding guides, taking us all over the amazing Belize Barrier Reef to see an incredible array of coral reefs, nurse sharks, stingrays, manatees and thousands of beautiful tropical fish. Food was superb and our tour group was amazing, due in large part to Charles and Phillip’s energy. 10/10 - would absolutely recommend.

Good crew and good vibes all day! - The excursion itself was soo fun! It was really cool to swim with a manatee, nurse sharks, sea turtle and other fish! We even swam by barracudas. The marine life in Belize is so astonishing! I really recommend using this tour if you want to see Hol Can. Also the food for lunch that was even made by the captain was delicious! I loved the chicken and pasta salad! Yummmz. Charles, the captain and his co-captain Antonio and team were amazing! So kind and fun to hang out with while driving to multiple destinations. Charles is so knowledgeable on the types of fish in the sea and made it interesting and interactive for our group to look at the cool marine life. They were attentive to us and made us feel comfortable and safe. They showed us the island way. And I remembered them saying “go slowww” plenty of times , so I’ll take those words back with me.

Top experience. - It was a great well-groomed snorkel tour. Also with care for nature. Phillip and Erik were 2 enthusiastic supervisors, who clearly still had fun in their profession. They had humor, swam along with a participant who found it a bit exciting and made sure everyone had enough food and drink. I have never had a tour before where you could snorkel so much and for so long. Even after we were back in the boat from our last dive, we were encouraged to jump in again, because the giant turtle had just been spotted. Top day.

Best tour guides you could ask for! - My first time snorkeling and it was an unforgettable adventure. Our guides, Philip and Rashid (hope I spelled your name right) were super energetic, knowledgeable, helpful, and made sure we all had a lot of fun. The morning started off a little chaotic as you try to find your flippers and snorkels, but when you get on the water, these guys do everything to make sure you have a blast! There are a ton of tours out here in Belize, but these guys are exceptional.
