Relaxing and informative cave tubing adventure - We had a great experience with Maya Walk Tours. We did the cave tubing at Nohoch Che’en with Ed. Ed was an incredible guide and introduced us to the history of Belize on our bus ride over and provided all the needed information on our walk to the caves and within them. We had a short walk to the start our cave tubing adventure where we saw a few Howler monkeys and then a relaxing journey tubing through the caves and the jungle. There was an opportunity to go for a swim as well. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. The lunch was delicious. Would recommend wearing proper footwear (closed toed sandals like Keens), bringing a waterproof phone case and an extra change of clothing.

Cave tubing was the highlight ! - My daughter and I just finished our cave tubing tour - it was phenomenal! Eddy (tour guide) and Melvin (driver) were great ! We left early, explained a little about the area and cultures. Our lunches were pre-ordered and ready to go . Cave tubing was amazing ! Caves were a sight to be seen! Everything was handled well from start to finish ! Would recommend !

Fun and relaxing - Jaser was absolutely wonderful! He was kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. MayaWalk Tours was very helpful and professional, especially when we accidentally canceled our reservation and needed to reschedule. The hike to the cave was easy and tubing relaxing. Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxing and enjoyable activity.

Great trip but, one thing missing from description. - Guides were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Trip through the caves was amazing. We were disappointed that the description and photos of cave tubing on mayawalk’s website and literature includes getting out of our tubes and exploring one of the underground caverns. This didn’t happen - we just went straight through, with our tubes roped together. We saw other groups stopping to explore, so we weren’t sure why our tour didn’t include this. No explanation given. Otherwise, great trip and recommended. Easy for older people (we’re in our 60’s), There is an option we didn’t take but you can pay a small fee ($5) to not have to carry your tube the 35 min hike to the start point.

Nohoch Che'en cave tour - Last minute decided to do a cave tube tour, so we walked into the MayaWalk office in San Ignacio. They were very accommodating and were able to get us in for an afternoon tour with Edeoni as our guide! He was awesome! Great guide with a ton of local knowledge and an overall just a super human being. Great tour! Cave is amazing and I highly recommend this tour with MayaWalk tours.

Maya Walk Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che’en - Maya Walk Cave Tubing at Nohoch Che’en with our guide Emil (sp?) was wonderful. Emil was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information about Belize and Mayan history on our ride to the site. The hike to the cave tubing entry point was fairly easy, especially with Emil’s commentary on the way. The cave tubing float was lots of fun, with Emil doing all of the hard work, as we floated along. The cave formations were very interesting , and when we re-merged to the sunlight and the river, it was so peaceful. I highly recommend MayaWalk and this tour (I also did ATM with MW.. which was excellent. (Separate review.). It’s also great that MayaWalk supports ecological conservation and research.

Any tour will do - We spent a while looking up the different cave tubing tour options and settled on this one because it seemed a little longer and we had the time available that day. The cave we went in was really cool and I would do it again, but they only took us to one cave. We were back at our hotel by 1pm and the picnic lunch was actually lunch at a restaurant on the drive back. The rainforest was so quiet. My expectations were set by the abundant animal activity in the Costa Rican jungle, but we saw 2 vultures and a few minnows. The caves are really unique, but Im not sure it matters which specific tour tou sign up for.
