SO FUN!!!! - Cave Tubing with A plus and Albert. Absolutely perfect! We got off the water taxi and followed the directions on our reservation (make sure you have them printed). Everyone in the terminal was very helpful and we found our driver in no time. While everyone else was fighting with 100 other people to get on huge charter buses, we hopped in a very clean, air conditioned mini van. Just the 3 of us and our driver. It was a little over an hour drive to the rafting location and Albert used the time wisely informing us on everything Belize! It was a very enjoyable ride. Upon arrival at the rafting location, we changed into our water shoes and Albert introduced us to our guide-Artemis. Artemis got us all set up with tubes, helmets, and life jackets. We then walked about 30min to the start of the cave tubing. Definitely not recommended to anyone with trouble walking. Artemis showed us various plants, trees, and animals throughout our walk. Once again it was only the 3 of us! All the other groups had 10-15 people. We saw and heard groups of howler monkeys in the trees-very cool! The water was so refreshing! (To my husband that means COLD! Haha!) it felt SO good! It was 99 degrees out and we were definitely ready to jump in when we arrived! Artemis tied all our tubes together and off we went! It was so relaxing and we just love caves - this really was the perfect excursion for us. It is definitely worth the hour drive and the 30 min walk! Our excursion began at 9am (ship time) and we returned to the port about 1:30pm. Grabbed some lunch at the pier (fish tacos-very good!), some local beers, and then shopped for a bit before returning to the ship. No one else in our party did an excursion here, and they completely regretted it. The port area is pretty pathetic. So if you are headed here-book this excursion!

Great service!! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. - Albert drove us to the cave tubing and zip line location from where we were staying in Ladyville. During the drive which took about an hour, we got a wonderful lesson on the history and culture of Belize. We learned so much and it was greatly appreciated. Once there we were handed off to the guides for the cave tubing and ziplining. They were equally as wonderful, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Albert was waiting for us after each tour and we were given a very delicious lunch of stewed chicken, rice and beans with a plantain and slaw. We ended up booking the Lamanai Mayan Ruins and Jungle River Tour through Albert for the following day and received the same level of service. I highly recommend A Plus for booking your tours while in Belize.

Awesome nature tour! - This was more beautiful than expected. Our tour guide Albert was very friendly and informative about Belize history, culture and people. We enjoyed talking to him on the journey to and from the caves. The hike was a little difficult for me (lung issues) but even being a little out of shape I was able to make it and it was worth it! Beautiful and relaxing and had a great group with us. We were there first thing in the morning so it wasn’t real crowded. The water was so clear and refreshing and was lined by trees and nature. Would definitely go back and tour with Albert again!

Best day in Belize! - This experience was amazing! My daughter and I couldn't ask for a better guide! Albert was so friendly, knowledgeable and particularly gracious, as I had recently hurt my knee. He waited patiently for me to make the beautiful hike, helped me on steep rocks and carried my tube so I could focus on enjoying myself and making sure I had good footing. The caves are absolutely a must see in Belize! Best part of our trip so far! Thank you Albert!

Cave Tubing with Albert - We did the cave tubing tour with Albert and had an AMAZING time! I wanted to go on this excursion since the last time we were in Belize (didn’t have time to do it then). Albert shared lots of information about his country as we drove to the cave tubing site, answering my MANY questions. The hike to the cave took about 25 minutes- you definitely need sturdy water shoes or strap on water sandals, as you also need to make a couple of water crossings to get to the start of the cave. Along the hike and during our float through the cave, Albert shared more about the area and history of the cave formation. Inside the cave was so beautiful with the different sparkly formations and waterfalls. We even saw a few bats inside. 100% recommend taking a tour with Albert (he does other tours as well).

Into the Rainforest ... Safely! - After a week with the Aggressor III Liveaboard diving, I was pretty spoiled and saturated with adventure. I didn't think my trip to Belize could get better ... but it did. " Fry Jack" picked ten of us up from the dock in Belize city and drove us first to the Xunantunich Ruins. The drive itself was interesting as we had not seen any of Belize so to drive across the entire country with "Fry Jack" narrating the sights was very informative and interesting. After touring the ruins, he took us for lunch at a local BBQ spot which was amazing. We had some sort of soursop drink too which was delicious. After lunch, he picked up a helper and drove us to the tubing adventure. I was pretty tired from all the diving so I deeply appreciated their help in carrying my inner tube into the forest for the tubing adventure. It was about an hour hike for me (as I'm nearly 60 and overweight) but it was fairly flat and well cleared. If I can hike it, anyone can hike it. But make sure you bring your *bug spray* and ideally I'd recommend full rash guards to keep the mosquitos off. There are lots but it is all so very worth it. Fry Jack and his partner loaded us into our inner tubes and narrated the trip into the caves and down the river through the rain forest where we were lucky enough to hear howler monkeys and see an iguana in a tree. It was spectacular. I felt safe with them the entire time which, considering that we got into a van and drove two hours into the rain forest of a Central American country is saying quite a bit. It was a wonderful and authentic experience and I cannot recommend A+ adventures and "Fry Jack" enough. (Thanks for all your help with the hiking!) Marie

Cave Tubing with A Plus Adventures - We had a stop in Belize City while on a cruise in January 2020. After hearing so many great stories about cave tubing, our multi-generational family of 6 decided to book. We ended up booking a private trip with A Plus Adventures and the owner, Albert, was our guide. He said that he wanted our group as he LOVED cave tubing, and it showed. He was very knowledgeable and personable. During our walk to where we got in the tubes, he explained about the local flora and some of the wildlife in the area. At his encouraging, we also tried termites....they really do taste minty! I would definitely recommend A Plus Adventures, and Albert, to friends and clients .

Viator. Never again. - The most memorable is neither my DIL or I received a response to messages and phone calls regarding a mix up in pick up sites. So we not only did not have a trip at all, but are out $$$ and got a rude, day late response from the tour operator. Never gonna use Viator again and will encourage my friend to do the same.
