A 30-minute walk on a gravel path with river crossings is required, so bring sturdy shoes that can get wet. Arrive at the cave entrance and relax on a tube with a mesh seating bottom and headrest. Visitors are met at the Belize Cruise Port, with pickups also available from hotels and marine terminals. The journey to the caves is a scenic one-hour drive. Upon arrival at the National Park, modern restroom facilities are available. For those ready to swim and hike, guides provide helmets, jackets, and lights. The adventure includes a twenty-minute walk, crossing the river three times. Upon reaching the caves, there is an optional swimming spot. Guests are provided with a luxury tube featuring a headrest, mesh bottom seating, and rope links, ensuring a smooth float as guides expertly navigate through the cave system beneath the Maya mountains. The caves boast numerous formations and a small waterfall, with guides offering geological and historical insights during the float, which continues downstream. After the cave experience, visitors can purchase lunch at one of the several park restaurants, each offering a diverse menu to suit various preferences.
